Are people trying to argue a team missing the world's best defender for an entire season won't have lost any points because of it?
By faridmon Go To PostThey definitely wouldn't
erm
By Dan Go To PostBayern are pretty trash this season huh
It's the power of Bo Svensson. He's going to PSG next season.
We'd be safely top 4 with Van Dijk I think, competing with Man Utd
He wouldn't fix the imposters we have playing up front but we'd be able to scrape a 1-0 against shit teams.
If you think his absence hasn't been significant, you're a bit daft.

VVD has been a massive miss. Massive.
I can safely say that being an expert judge of things that are massive.

did people forget about vvd conceding 7 vs aston villa? of course liverpool would be better with him, but liverpools biggest problems this season lie elsewhere.

By barber Go To Poststill can't believe that game happened :lolSame weekend Spurs hammered us 6-1
Joe Willock scored again?
Fucking hell. He's getting better coaching at Newcastle
He was nowhere near prem quality when he played for us

At least Kabak is actually good. Though my barometer for Liverpool CBs will always be "are they better than Skrtel/Sakho/Toure?" Don't know if that'll be good enough for Klopp if Konate is coming in.
Sucks that we won't be top 4. We need fresh legs if not a rebuild and CL money would help. Afcon next season too, presumably, and Copa America/Euros in the summer.

By markao Go To Postsqueeky bum time PennyUnecessary to get that yellow in that position.
hold with 10 for 30 min
Ugh :<
As results stand, we are staying up. We can draw as long as Rotherham lose but stay up regardless if we can get a winner.
By faridmon Go To PostLewandowski injury just sapped all the Bayern Energy it seems??
he played ttoday
and scored one
I don't even recall Firmino missing many huge chances, so low is the bar for him. Unpressured shots from the penalty spot get filed under 'half-chance' in my brain.

By inky Go To PostKlopp is having a mental breakdown around everyone hating on the super league. What'd he say?

Pretty boring to see Norwich and Watford back in the PL next year
Hopefully Brentford or Barnsley make it too

Can't believe what I've just watched.
Should have been 5-0 at half time and it's ended with our goalkeeper and manager screaming at each other after they scored to make it 3-3. This nightmare is never going to end.

Watford, though, is a stain that never goes away. Rather have Barnsley but they keep shooting themselves in the foot in the recent weeks
By barber Go To PostWhat'd he say? He's just annoyed that people are protesting and asking for punishment. Fears protests will be worse once people are allowed back in the stadium next season and that it won't help results on the pitch. I guess his point in general is that the backlash was too much and he thinks it was directed at managers and players (situations like Leeds wearing "earn it" t-shirts, etc or that at least that they are catching collateral over it, which is his owner's fault, not the fans). He was annoyed at Gary bringing up YNWA and the history of the club during one of his rants, saying he had no right to talk about it.
I think he's just misreading the backlash badly. In general people are on his side, but he feels under pressure due to results and other things.
Koop should shut the fuck up and not let his frustration about performance and results inform how he reacts to the super league backlash.
By Daz Go To PostKlopp should smile more.
having seen his teeth, i will have to say no

How excited are you for Tammy Abraham to do well at Everton or whatever next season, before being sold to another team that will keep beating Chelsea with him on the pitch?
