I feel the way thibs teams end seasons is always the same… Tired and injured. He plays guys way too many minutes and NO has more than a few guys already who are pretty injury proneHonestly part of my reasoning is ignorance to alternatives. The other is I want the boat and not the mystery box - to borrow one of the only family Guy references I ever saw worth repeating. I think this franchise needs a known quantity instead of more high risk/ high reward guys. We need to build a winning culture here to get fans in the seats like what it took with the Saints.
Local guys have been clamoring for Hoiberg who the Bulls want. He seems like a better fit but unproven. Atkinson from Atlanta seems intriguing and I like Mike Malone. But with Thibs you know you will get the playoffs and good D, our biggest problems right now.
