By RBK Go To PostThis is the same guy who said the Clippers were finished after being down 2-1…Hey at least my prediction was wrong because of Blake and CP3, not JJ Redick and Austin Rivers.
Yeah, talk to me another time.
By Branduil Go To PostThere have been a lot of terrible leastern conference all-stars.Wouldn't surprise me at all if Reggie makes an all-star game in the next 2 or 3 seasons.
By diehard Go To PostI would like Hayward to make it next year but then i remember we are in the West.Yeah, barring a rash of injuries (or a bunch of good players defecting to the East) no more than a couple spots will open up per year.
By KingGondo Go To PostWouldn't surprise me at all if Reggie makes an all-star game in the next 2 or 3 seasons. He was actually putting up Westbrook -lite numbers after he got acclimated in Brooklyn. An AS game shouldn't be surprising. He might make it next year if the Pistons are above .500. Which isn't too high of a goal since they weren't nearly as terrible after they dumped Smith. That injury to Jennings(who was playing well post jsmoove firing) pretty much doomed them.
Jackson averaged 20/11/5 on 48%FG and 39%3PT in 32 mins a game in his last 16 games with Houston. I think he had a 20/20 game as well.
Idk I think he will be really good.

Hasn't Wall been an Allstar?
There's been worse.

Plus the East is garbo.

Still hate the way he handled his last season in OKC though. He's gonna get the shit booed out of him when the Pistons visit us next season, and YNB is gonna show no mercy.
That trade created a lot of acrimony. Utah hates Kanter, OKC hates Reggie...
By Branduil Go To PostOne-dimensional role player is one-dimensional. It seemed too good to be true that he just suddenly became an all-star at 34 years old.
He's not one dimensional. He's a decent defender (actually good on help defense) and a good screen setter. There's more to him than just shooting, though he's excellent at it.
The problem is that he is a spot up shooter and eventually these players hit a series or two where a defense can take them out. During the regular season you play you base defense and rarely adjust for the team you're playing but during the season you do. You also don't fight through screens, hedge as hard, etc during the season as you do in the playoffs. This is why his playoff numbers are demonstrably worse. He got shut out with Utah and Chicago, too (Miami obliterated him in '11, Ron Artest in '10).
Same thing happened to Novak that one season. It almost always happens to these guys (and before anyone mentions Allen and Reggie, those guys were not just spot up shooters).
Korver's presence on offense is still has meaning. It means no one is helping off him and players have to hedge hard on screens. He still sets solid screens, too. It's just that the Wiz are making the other 4 guys beat them and refusing to let Korver do anything. A team with an actual superstar offensive player would be exploiting this, but Atlanta doesn't have one. Korver, as a result, is also rushing some shots because he's desperate to make a scoring impact of some kind.
His presence is still positive, but mitigated.
By DY_nasty Go To Postworst all-star of all time
How soon we forget Jamal Magloire.
By DY_nasty Go To PostAll of those guys are better though. Shit, I thought you were gonna argue Devin Harris at least.
Korver is a damned good role player who's good at one thing and nothing else. I never thought I'd come to agree that Brandon Knight got robbed this year but now I'm a believer. If guys like Korver are gonna be all-stars then Tony Allens, Danny Fortsons, and Reggie Evanss need to be getting nods too.
Well, yknow, those guys might if they did what they're known for at a historical level, while also putting in solid minutes on a team with the best record in their conference.
Korver might be really good at only one thing, but he was challenging the all time single season 3pt percentage for a good chunk of the season. That's stand out talent. Like mamba said, Korver would be absolutely unfair playing with a LeBron or Durant type player. If the Hawks had a guy that could tilt defenses with penetration, Korver would shine that much more brightly.

Always been a Horford fan. Good all around player.
By Nobility Go To PostI think Bulls barely win this one but I'll accept if they lose now.I'm moving, so it wouldn't be too bad for me either. This season has been frustrating as fuck. Put me out of my misery.
i like these players on the bulls,
that's why i want them to lose.
the faster they lose, the faster they'll fire Thibs.

Man I'm really nervous about tonight. We played horribly on Tuesday. The biggest thing we have to worry about is our ability to keep DJ on the floor. Our only losses have come when he's gotten into early foul trouble.
Edit: Wow LeBron has really shot horribly in this series.
