Korver has disappeared this series, he played pretty well against the Nets so I expect him to snap out of it soon. He has 0 free throws for this series. He really isn't looking for his shot either, really strange after how free he played this season.
I'm not sure MEM will be able to adjust to those Spurs tactics of playing smallball and ignoring Tony Allen on the offense end. We'll see.
lol at twitter comparing Harrison Barnes to Kawhi Leonard. Barnes is my favorite Warrior but come on twitter, be real.
Kerr's adjustments were so good. Bogut on Allen made so much sense. I wonder how memphis adjusts in game 5. They have to figure out a way to get Allen to not bog down the offense.
Atlanta played really well most of the game and almost gave it away.

One thing in Kerrs favour is that he's always willing to experiment.
i guess i missed a damned good showing from gs :/ anyone got a quick dirty of the game? I might try and find a recording or something later

Review of Publix Strawberry Ice Cream: Better than I expected. I appreciate that that were were no artificial flavors, even the coloring (beet juice) was natural, although I dock points for fucking corn syrup; that created a bit of a cloying aftertaste. Small strawberry flecks are visible throughout, although larger chunks did not appear until I was about one inch deep. The strawberries themselves are a disappointment, presented as part of a puree, which lends them an unflattering fruit-at-the-bottom yogurt sort of flavor rather than the freshness of other brands.
In conclusion, it's aight, but I'd rather be eating Blue Bell Strawberry with Homemade Vanilla.

Speaking of stealing jokes.. where is NInjascooter?
So I had a dream last night that I switched bodies with Austin Rivers, only to find out that he was missing the tips of half his fingers, which explained his awkward shot. What does it all mean?

RT @WojYahooNBA: Stunning move for Pelicans, where GM Dell Demps has his way now. Williams improved each season as coach, led franchise to playoffs. Stunning

I think he stayed at that other place.
I'd be ok with the firing if I was certain that Nola wouldn't replace him with a somehow worse coach.
Davis was a big Monty fan too, hope he clashes with the new coach and takes that QO.

The firing of Monty might be the biggest offseason change.
SW division gets tougher if they get a competent coach.

But coaching doesn't matter?
Good move by the Pels. If they can fix their atrocious guard play, they have the ability to make it past the 2nd round.

By Doomsayer Go To PostBut coaching doesn't matter? Not really. The talent is still always the ultimate factor.
Don't know how many times I have to say it.
By RBK Go To PostClippers are 5-8 in series clinching games…The Rockets will have to play like an entirely different team the next 3 games then. They've managed one close win against the Clippers without CP3. I'm hoping we win tonight, as we could use the rest. My main concern is the Clippers' tendency to choke in the second round.
THERE IS HOPE.
Edit: We are so much better with Doc despite having a lot of questionable personnel moves. Coaching definitely matters. Talent is more important, obviously, but finding the right coach can mean the difference between a second round exit and a WCF bid. Even if we lose the next 3 games, we haven't previously gotten 3 wins in the second round with Paul and Griffin.

Davis with DPOTY and MVP at 23. Dead at 24.
By Jonm Go To PostThibs, come on down to NOLA!Thibs is going to wear out Davis before he has a chance at an mvp trophy.
Thibs can coach but I wouldn't want him. He seems like a workaholic who inevitably wears everyone out.

that still means they would win one in three tries.
By Frenchman Go To Postthat still means they would win one in three tries. Not necessarily...
By psychintellect Go To PostInterested to see how fast Davis would die under Thibs. He's already somewhat fragile. He killed Yao, enough said.
By RBK Go To PostNot necessarily….
yeah but likely. if you say that the clippers win 40% of all close out games no matter who they play, the rockets would still lose one of three roughly 80% of the times.
(it's obviously garbage math)
Thibs is an interesting prospect for NOLA fans. I mean, AD is already kind of brittle--but at the same time he hasn't lived up to being the sort of defensive prospect that he seemed a lock to be coming out of UK. Not sure anyone would be better than Thibs for getting that out of him, but again, health concerns...
