Sure someone should not be absolved of being a shitty free thrower. But the rule needs changing. Their shitty ability to shoot is already a factor when they are fouled without the incentive of stoppage. It does bite them in the ass. However this strategy is nothing but a loophole in the rules, it's an off-the-ball foul.

I love the Hack-A strategy for penalizing people for not being good at a part of the game. However, McHale was an absolute moron for abusing it early... Now what do you do in the 2nd half? I mean if Rockets could stop getting dunks blocked on the rim and missing open 3's they could've been winning, but at what cost? Like everyone has 3 fouls!
