I’m sure Lewis will see it once he is out of the car.
hindsight to late, those that went to inters earlier were the fastest in the end.
Ocon only one with no stop, checked app and no stop
Perez with two top moves today.

Maybe the last finn to win a race ever.
By JesalR Go To Post“If you stay in 1st, you could finish P1” is fantasticI appreciate his deadpan delivery.
Shame we never got to a true crossover stage. Probably 5 more laps and drys could have been an option.
Looking at all websites, some one must have used "record braking" in their PR mailing. Imola instead of China and hopefully cars are close with new rules, otherwise long season ahead.
6 to go, Austin Teaxas first. Looks like nice warm weather for the weekend, so managing tires main point again. Not sure if it will just be the fronts (1st section mainly) or if the rears in the slower part come in to play. If the latter, RBR might have a chance of being closer to the Mercs, otherwise it is a Lewis win.
Curious to see were Ferrari really stands with improved engine after some (wet) weather events.
Hopefully qualifying as close as two years ago, would set-up race just lovely.

Man this sunday is gonna be a great sports day. Ajax in the afternoon, time for dinner and relaxing and onwards to Max in the evening. And I like these US times, I can finally catch every practice and quali session after work now.

two more Metc, 4th PU ICE, penalties this weekend . see some reporters making the most of it, but for me it feels like Merc planned early on in the season to go for 4.
with Valteri taking his 6th one this weekend, I take that back.
Looks like some issue on these new PUs and they are using Valteri as a testbed.

FP1, so part of it is definitely engine modes (gap is to entire field), but they look fast so far. But with Valteri 5 place grid penalty, damage limitation for RBR is possible if Merc is that fast on race pace. But fair to say that since Merc started dropping their rear end on the straights they have been mega.

Sky seem to be under in impression Marc have found a way to lower the rake in the straights which is causing the straight line speed increase.
By KP Go To Post😂😂😂😂😂Still amazing to us that you can not say that on TV and you have to apologize for it, should watch Dutch TV and the amount of F$& this and that^, live.
Toto. "You guys are being fed a load of bullshit" live on sky.
but he also is ignoring the fact that if you can drop your rear end and gain speed that way, you can run more downforce (drag) in the rest of the track, so of course it is not just straights.

Sky had "rolling" images? (feed?)

Oh I hadn't seen it mentioned before but yeah they had rear onboard the car coming out of final corner up the T1 in Turkey and it was pretty clear. Merc stay winning.

Charles bump & spin, from stands.
By Linius Go To PostStupid idiot 😂
Enjoyed that lol
Bumps catching alot of people out. Be some hard luck stories in final quali runs I think
Long runs Merc and RB look closer.
Hamilton quick lap deleted track limits. Still expect Merc 1-2 quali although pen for Bottas opens it up on race start i spose

By KP Go To PostLong runs Merc and RB look closer.find it hard to read single lap pace on Fridays as people try run the engine as conservative as they can get away with, but long run pace looked similar and will probably come down to tire wear (2 stops prob?) and how much Merc has to keep that rear one in shape. If Perez keeps his act together, it is indeed not the first corner type that you would your teammate dropping grid spots.

McLaren looked like a more normal Friday and back to fighting for best of the rest with the Ferrari's
Amazing that you have to blur out someone flipping the bird on UK teli lol
By KP Go To PostMax and Lewis looked super close on deleted laps. Could be a fun quali this.yeah looks close, still time for some changes so we will see later tonight. (Max less than 1 tenth quicker than Lewis, for those that weren't watching)
But so far Merc looks like Merc better front and having to look at their rear tires (overheating) a bit more than RBR, Also really close between McLaren and Ferrari, curious who will want to go through Q2 on mediums and can manage it other than top 2 teams.

And Fernando's PU problems yesterday means new one for today and grid pen
By KP Go To PostFerrari only have one medium left for the race so not sure what thier strat will be.two set hards?
or did they used one set yesterday. Just checked my own post, lol, and they haven't used hards yet.
By KP Go To PostBad look for the Canadianslovely that your team8 set a time for no reason and you finish p16 and do not go through.
