With the soviet dead last.
Don't wanna be that guy but looks like Daniel's team hopping in recent years is biting him back, and hard.
He had a bad 1st run, T3 lock-up and poor T4 and you do not want to run without anyone in front of you on tracks like these (2/3 tenths) , so frustrated about that, but lap 1 was good enough in the end even with the errors.
He should be fuming. It could have been fatal on another track.
BOT has been summoned by the stewards for driving slowly between 9 and 10. You can see on the driver tracker how long he waited, although it seems HAM and RUS did the same, but perhaps not as long. It was this that led to VET blocking ALO.

Just see Sainz is also summoned, so guess stewards are looking in to it, he the one waiting the longest?
So in typical FIA oddness Vet gets a penalty but the others all get away with it because, they say, several drivers contributed and there was no one wholly to blame.
So Vettel was right in his defense.
Alonso's fate was sealed half a lap before the incident.

But it is hard to blame some one who is not impeading anyone, I mean there is no minimum time for that sector and drivers like to have a 4 sec gap and they were all at it.
In the end Seb payed for it, as he was the one at the wrong place just at the wrong time and could drive super slow to the right as that was forbiden between 9 & 10.

It was them backing up and driving slow out of 9, which they weren't supposed to do, that left VET in the position he was. If they had all given it the beans out of 9 it would have been fine.

The FIA/stewards seem reluctant to penalize large parts of the field at once. It's like in Baku, everyone that flew past VER under double waved yellows should have got a penalty, even if that is 10 or 12 drivers.
They shouldn't let drivers off because loads of them did it so they're all to blame.
Yes ultimately only VET actually blocked someone but the others that broke the directive and caused it should all have been penalized as well.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostLads, George is getting into the points this time. I can feel it.Engine problems by lap 26

That's basically free money, we all know it I truly hope he gets a points finish
So lovely to see the crowds back by the way. Buddy of mine is going to Spa this year. Sadly I already have a festival planned the same weekend so I can't join in on the fun. But we're looking into going to a race next season again, maybe a trip to Hungary for the good weather and great city combined with F1.
