destroys something drivers and teams have worked on for an entire race, sc start is perfectly fine for situatuons like this.
Only usefullf or wet track sighting laps and than standing start
When was the last time Merc had zero points, Barca (lewis nico crash?)
Also two Honda engines powered cars, when others already switched to 2nd pu, on the podium. Might have cost a few billions, but it was worth it

By Anya Taylor-Sad Go To PostPerez held on with an issue? Because he has to stop?he mentioned something in interview. (if no rest fuel)
Otherwise seb win, would have been even more mad
By KP Go To PostLoooolcompletely, or something brake balance, as you did see some tire lock smoke, no?
Lewis accidentally 'turned his breaks off' on the stearing wheel
found it, from eralier years.
Still hard to believe what happened, as if I had to choose someone for a restart like that it would be Lewis or Max, both ice cold under pressure.
Interview with Max also showed top guys are wired differently, as I look at you did not loose points to Lewis and he talks anout loosing points to Lewis (1st and lewis 3rd). His love for Pirelli and the "no doubt they will blame debris again" for the tire failure, showed how drivers realy think about these tires.

happy Dad
Ericsson hit it; worst day of Valteri at Merc (worse than turkey imo) , probably get buried by all the others things that happened today

Don't mind softer compounds as don't like soft - hard one stops.
Of course if they say the tyre can do X amount of laps and it can't then that's bad.

In my excitement I apparently found the wrong F1 thread first. So for good measure I’ll repeat my message in here.
Get fucked Lewis
God I really, really enjoyed that after what happened to Max

I hope Mick can move to Alfa next year. It’s not nice having to see him in the back with that idiot.

Catching up on the Indy race after the footy and one hell of a horror crash for Felix Rosenqvist as car started accelerating all by it self after the braking was done.
We have no idea so the team must been doing something, we have no idea of what, pls no questions.

For race 7 we go to France, lay-out better than the visual presentation en it being front limited, I expect another close qaulie followed by Merc with the better race pace (tire wear) and Lewis win.
Ferrari, faster/long corner combo's , back to fighting midfield and time for DannyRic to do the talking on track.

Punishment for running wide not allowed. Bad frenchies.
Yep, still hate it here.
As a spectator, I can never tell which part of the circuit the cars are on when they’re doing a hot lap.

It is not about not being allowed to be punished at exit T2, but more how little the error and how high the cost and you can also put a timing loop there (lap time deleted).
FP2;
Merc was mega on mediums, Bottas did not improve on softs (3 ths slower), Lewis did set fastest lap on reds. Max poor lap on meds, but improved a lot on reds,. Expect, also based on longruns, that teams want to start on mediums (or hards outside top 10). Long run pace Max slightly quicker than Lewis, Valteri was on slightly different run (started on reds, but quickest on mediums. But itt isn't about the first 5 laps, but if RBR can keep up after lap12/15 with the Mercs, so we will have to wait to Sunday for that.
Alpine surprisingly quick, although they were quick in Barca as well, so these tracks might suit their car better and Ferrari back to fighting top midfield as expected.

all somewhat normal until final run on reds were the Mercs did not improve much rest did (so probably not max engine mode/fuel load), so the gap isn't as big as that. Having said that they still looked 3 tenths behind Max, so they will need to find some pace if they want to get pole, maybe trim downforce like RBR did for FP3.
Midfield usual suspects all within few tenths, curious if anyone will pick the reds in Q2 to get in to Q3, but fell that would ruin your race.
