Tsunoda hype died so fast, my boi Albon might get his place if he continues to be that underwhelming
Vettel improving, showing how shite Stroll really is
Ripcciardo
Alonso really really bad as well
Great job by Perez on the race
Sainz decent

usual Monaco fest, but great podium
Max jumping Lewis and leading driver championship for 1st time, RBR jumping Merc with Sergio doing the minimum of what is needed, but after Q max.
Carlos saves Ferrari weekend, good to see them further up the grid, GOLANDO, top weekend only struggled bit on hards but np.
Mercedes after being lauded for their super super team, has an absolute shocker of a weekend in every department, Valteri probably best of Merc team says it all
Seb show bits of life and DannyRic & Fernando auch

Carlos keeps talking about that good lap he aborted, but he was .025 above his previous effort, unless they do the steeringwheel delta different at Ferrari

Devastating weekend for him. Should have a race win and third place in the championship.
Why did Ferrari do so well? Is it just because how slow Monaco is?
RiP Max,
part of my early F1 memories with Ron and Bernie, doubt McLaren fans will miss him much, but did a lot for the sport and later privacy laws in the UK.
One, people are a bit stuck in last seasons performance, with was all down to the engine penalty and a car not designed around the lack of power, so they always would bounce back this year.
Second, car character. Ferrari, even last season has always been good at slow speed (mechanical grip) corners and you spend far more time in those than fast corners and you gain relatively a lot of time to the others. Monaco, middle part S2 and last few corners are all slow speed and that's where they gained the time.
Don't think without crashing in Q3, that Charles would have won it, as he likely would not have been on pole and not won the race, but probbably 2nd after Max (Valteri dnf).
Next race is also street circuit but with long straights (Baku) and think Ferrari will be back were they were in the previous races, bit behind top 2 fighting for best of the rest. (unless Merc tire warm-up struggles continue in Baku).

Spiderman great winner, curious what happened last stop to vk

Kind of surprised Veekay didn't take the big win. Screwed by his pit team no doubt. They are amateurish compared to F1 standards. There were several botched pitstops throughout the entire race actually. I would simply be fuming as a driver.

Almost Race weekend, an other street circuit but one on another scale than Monaco. Last few years/races would have put this one in the Merc corner, but with Honda's extra power and Red Bull that gives you flexi wings, we might be in for a race. Think Merc will win it if the softest compound does not provide them with to much warm-up issues.
Would be nice if Lando can do here what Charles almost did in Monaco, as that McLaren normally does well on the high speed stuff.
And the bullshit stops here after 6 races, so time for some older gents to pick up their pace and get closer to their teammates.

- Merc (2x red) en RBR (med/red) used different tires, at least this session
- And when Sky UK though to show the difference between RBR flex rearwing and the Merc one, they were quite surprised to see the Merc wing flex as much, so don't expect any protest this week.
And lots of this, mis braking point, straight on and spin in right direction, dual version by Valteri and Lando
