Uralkali and 1&1 are the only sponsors on the Haas car. Dmitry Mazepin must be giving Haas massive amounts of money to deal with the disaster that was gropegate because there's no way a team so strapped for cash would allow such a sponsor exodus. Yes, a bunch like Jack & Jones were personal sponsors of their previous drivers, but it shows just how much mud is on Mazepin's name if the team can't get anyone to sponsor them even with a Schumacher in the other seat.
Someone on Reddit has edited the livery for Mick Schumacher.
Also, still no Rich Energy yet. So are they at Williams?

THX for taking thread duties m8 ;)
Some more Haas, apparently some people complaining because Russian flag is banned and this looks like & slightly altered AM livert if HWT wasn't sponsoring

Good to see Portimao back!
And williams FW43B , lets say not my kind of livery
Ferrari has the easiest job on the grid when it comes to liveries. Just paint it red and add a few black sponsors. But like with most things, they Ferrari'd it and couldn't do that right.
SF21 PR shots and comparison front view. More an Alfa nose (cannot change crash structure, so limited options), engine cover more wrapped downward and green hideous logo. Tokens used on rear, but hard to see anything at that side of the car.

New drivers and constructors champs this season.
morning report F1.com
Spain cold, chance of rain and snow lets go to the sun and warmer weather, what could go wrong
tomorrow also sandstorms expected.
Weird day, as in Merc doing what normally others are doing and ending up with the fewest laps of the day and when running car did not look like a Merc (as in planted). Still two days left and knowing the team, tomorrow all fixed.
RBR did what they always do, quick lap, slow through pits, practice start and doing long run, over and over and over and ended up with most laps.
McLaren looked great all day, AT looked ok all day, Alpine did put on some softer tires and Aston only looked comfortable on soft test tires, Ferrari was so so, not as bad as last year but not up there yet.
Other teams need some more running, than again same for rest. Tomorrow again windy, but 180 degrees changed direction.

Some RBR rake on the AT

By Anya Taylor-Sad Go To Post I’m not a scientist but that can’t be good for the engine.presume they have proper filters to deal with normal stuff that you want to keep out of the engne, no idea if good enough for so much sand.
Cars entering the pits were carrying enough sand with them that sand bagging hot a new dimension this year.

Team racking up more laps this morning, talking point probably being Lewis beaching it and another Mercedes (on the Aston of Seb) gearbox problem.

By Anya Taylor-Sad Go To PostI could tell from Sainz's words in his interview that his car is shit.Sainz behind the scenes:
Think some teams (AT/RBR/Fer) were doing some sort of race sims, so hopefully some more useful data later and there was some C4/C5 runs after sun went down by teams. Merc needed multiple runs on the C5 to beat top time, so baby steps today and Ferrari could not manage to beat the Sauber GIO time : oops:
Perez needs some more laps to get to Max his time and McLaren still looked good.
afternoon session:
Full day:
Perez lost his engine cover when coming out of the slipstream on the straight.

Watching Marc Priestley on YouTube and jeepers the Alpine rear is huge. Would be curious if they make any gains with it.
Morning session nothing to shocking. Few team doing race sims, but with hotter temps than yesterday hard to compare. Think afternoon session will be more interesting, specially for Seb and Lewis, they need some problem free, clean running.
it's surprising to see that a lot of teams have adopted the high rake floor. Aston and McLaren in particular.

Less days and different location make it hard to read what who was doing when, but overall
Good test, Alpine, McLaren and both Honda powered teams,
ok Haas/Williams/Ferrari,
not good Aston (Seb hardly any running today due to Turbo issue) and Mercedes.
Maybe hard on Merc, but they normally are so dominant that when things are slightly off, you notice them the most. Probably summed up by Sir Lewis spinning before he even started his fast lap effort on the C5's.
Pace wise, will wait for some long run plotting graphs as all runs together give the best and in two weeks we have gone through Q3 anyway.
Sir Lewy on C5's

I'm genuinely so flipping triggered that even the presenters have those terrible masks that don't fit.
I just realized that RBR now have multiple home races. Silverstone, Spielberg, Zandvoort, Suzuka and Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.

And Mercedes engineers do not sound to optimistic for the 1st race, also not to worried they cannot improve over time in the season or look better at different tracks.

Finished S3 and still hard to watch it through all the fake and edited stuff, yeah I'm that guy that knows the board-radio is from last season, or that you are showing the wrong track and the fakeeeeee over the top commentary. Missed Nico a little, but might have been covid (bubble) problems.
Having said that, still go through the whole season for the backstage access and some of it was rather fun, first time I was with Cyrill :P
Highlight eps 8, both Grosjean (still hard to watch) and Perez
And this weekend it is green light for the race to nr8,
let's hope for us fans that at least RBR start a little closer to them (+- 0,2 would be great either way) and the midfield as close as it was at the end of the season (doubt that).
Further looking forward to some new guys and guys that changed teams. Good for MSC, yeah that one is back on the timing pages, that Haas is dead slow (no expatiations). How Fernando is fernando, is DannyRic happy with his switch, can Carlos be closer to Charlez than Seb was, does he find his mojo back now Charles is no longer hunting him....Drive to Survive S4 done ;)
