By Eternity Go To PostDo we have stats for the time period in which La Liga teams were dominant in the CL?La Liga Slaent gotten to
By recon_zero Go To PostAt least it's Spain's 3rd team now, that's better than the shithole of a club they were before CholoEven though that’s true, there’s been a whole project behind that renaissance and a lot of money pumped into it. They had been been on a slow rise after the real rock bottom of relegation and so on. Simeone did consolidate them in the top 3 and as a Champions League contender but sometimes I feel
Enough to pay him as high as they do? i dunno
he has hit a ceiling.
By Eternity Go To PostDo we have stats for the time period in which La Liga teams were dominant in the CL?Is that relevant or does it matter for how shit la liga is atm
Sheffield United would be fighting madrid for 3rd place
By n8 dogg Go To PostBayernIts Bayern’s to lose, innit.
Chelsea
Dortmund
Liverpool
Real
City
Porto
PSG
city or bayern to win it all #hottake
By n8 dogg Go To PostThe one good thing about Chelsea doing well is how shit it makes Lampard lookThis is such a massive understatement omg. Imagine if we had Tuchel to start the season, fuuuuuuck
Lampard ffs
By domino Go To PostLa Liga Slaent gotten toI was just curious. La Liga is def shiite currently
By FootbalIFan Go To PostFavourites in order:M8 thanks for not putting us dead last (I’m not as confident myself in that) but somehow I think PSG isn’t as high as 3rd. They had that good Camp Nou match and kinds crapping the bed otherwise. Too dependent on Mbappé’s inspiration.

Think Chelsea is quite higher as well. Tuchel is getting results.

Had dembele scored 2 out of his 35 chances. And messi scored the penalty. We'd be laughing at psg.

The only reasons I can think they didn't bother with the Azpi penalty is that they thought Mendy was definitely getting the ball, or they thought it was too soft an infringement. It's a ludicrous decision, would be fuming if it was the other way round.
City are bound to slip up as they always do.
PSG has an excellent chance this season as the competition is poor.
Bayern are efficient and clear favs
Dortmund have issues in defence that I do not see boding well for them.
Madrid have experience and the support of the officials so they have a good chance too. Plus clapping is potentially super effective.
Chelsea are a solid team and a dark horse for me.
Porto are being underestimated by so many, if they can reproduce that intensity from the Juve ties they can beat anybody.
Liverpool are absolute shit and a massively overrated team, but if the draw is favourable they can easily make the semis and from the there it is a crapshoot.

Has there ever been.a round of 16 as bad as that? Porto-Juve is the only tie that wasn't over well before the end iirc
By Hitch Go To PostEternity plsIt was good corner for sure, but my point still stands.
Trent's corner was almost two years ago, let it go.

By LabouredPatriot Go To PostI refuse to believe some of you boys still think RM are any good. It's more nuanced than being just good or bad. There were moments during this season where we looked phenomenal, even with all of our injuries. But it's no lie that we have not been as good as we can be, the injuries just fucked everything up - there was never really a true starting 11 and players form were abysmal going in/out of injuries constantly. I know every team have suffered injuries but I'm not sure if any team has had it as bad as us, it's been truly mind boggling.
if we can get past the next round then I would be more optimistic but as it stands I don't think we're the favorites at all.
This is Bayern's to lose.

Not against City or Bayern, but the rest?
PSG is struggling quite a bit lately and Pooch wasn't really the best choice so far.
Honestly hope we get Real Madrid so we fucking smash them. Would be so super sweet. If not, I'll take Porto. Or really anyone, I don't care. I wouldn't discount us vs. any of the remaining teams just like I didn't when we drew Atletico and was supposed to be fearful of Argentine Sean Dyche.
City to draw Grimsby Town

Portuguese press are claiming that we have given notice to City that we are activating Porro's buy clause this summer (despite having another year on loan left) and Porro has agreed to 5 year contract.
I will be thrilled when we lock this down, he will probably be in high demand in a year.
Being the only RB called to Spain's National Team has certainly brought him more attention

Just watching some Pote highlights and I was wondering if you may be willing to discount his price a bit if I give you some pretty good McDonalds vouchers?
hoping for chelsea - dortmund, so marina can check out sancho, håland and bellendham. ez signings after rudigers bois beat them
Can't believe you would talk about players I would like United to sign in this way. Very harsh cousin.
I left it out on purpose because I thought "no English players" went without saying, but I guess not.

Milan will score in the 95th minute to go through.
