By LabouredPatriot Go To PostBeneloosers more like.No it's just the BeNe part. The losers are not invited.
Seeing a headline on Reddit that Beckham wants to sign Marcelo for Miami. Current stars there are Matuidi and Higuain. I'm still surprised that there's not really anyone else like Giovinco. A young European willing to go there with the hope of being the breakout star. Players way past their best like Villa and Keane have had good records there.
The downside is you'd have to live in America, I concede.

Wasn't Giovinco playing for Sunderland before he went to MLS? Or am I thinking of a different juve flop

You're thinking of Full Metal Giach.
By Bungie Go To PostContender for the worst nickname of all time imo
Blame Yurt for that one IIRC.
By domino Go To PostGiovinco wouldn’t have come here either if he had desirable (to him) options in EuropeYeah. Wouldn't you rather be a lion in America than a sheep in Europe?
No Messi or Ronaldo in the CL QFs for the first time since 2004.

By batong_nr1_rangers_fan Go To PostBu bu but MLS /MeierMLS is a fine league. Better than a lot of the ones in smaller European countries. It obviously has a long way to go still, but it's nice to see it growing and especially to see the academy system starting to bear fruit now that its expanded. It's really important long term that they show a path to a lucrative career for players to try and draw some young stars away from baseball, basketball and American football.
By LabouredPatriot Go To PostGetting increasingly annoyed that we bombed out of the CL with so few good teams in it.Yeah most teams atm are quite bad in general, even the big teams.
A good chance for anybody to win it tbh
By LabouredPatriot Go To PostGetting increasingly annoyed that we bombed out of the CL with so few good teams in it.It was such a pathetic exit. Beat PSG, hammer RB Leipzig then get beat by a team that hadn't scored a CL goal before. I still get annoyed thinking about it.
By Frustrated_me Go To PostBenzema! Who else? Why do you keep doing this?
Atalanta were playing so well until that point
Atalanta have not a had a sniff at goal, let alone had any substantial moments where they applied pressure on Real's backline.
Even in possession stats Real are dominating.

I mean they had a sniff on goal when they were running clear through on goal and then the ref whistled for half time.....

Atalanta had a fantastic chance to score in the first 5 minutes, they should have scored and in fact I don't believe we even touched the ball in their half well into the 10 minute mark.
Then once we scored we dominated.

By domino Go To PostVinicius is kinda shit innitHe's VERY shit. Madrid will replace him the moment they can
Brazilian football is in a bad spot I think
By domino Go To PostVinicius is kinda shit innitDoes everything very well up until the final finishing, then it falls apart, he's an unfinished product but still young so.
Not a chance we sell him, Rodrygo is better though.
