By Pedja Go To PostJermain Jenas made himself look like a tit over it last night on MOTD.Dude does that almost daily. How are all these pundits so damn bad?
By Vini.lad Go To PostI saw Meier accusing me of being biased on the Arsenal pen yesterdayI mean, you clearly due to have a huge agenda at the moment.. I understand it's a defensive mechanism. Most pundits know fuck all and their opinion is worth no more than anyone else's. I wouldn't put much stock in that.
Here it was pretty much unanimous like 95% of the people saying it was
Watching the pundits, the majority thought it wasn't
So yeah, I wasn't being biased at all, and still think it wasn't a pen. If that was given for Tottenham Id be fuming

let it go m8. The fact I don't like Arteta has nothing to do with my decision.

It's because they're football traditionalists. Back in their day as long as you got any kind of shot away the defender was allowed to come in and snap the attacker in two if they fancied.
This rule has been misapplied hugely for a long time and only in the last couple of seasons have refs started to give penalties for post shot fouls. That was a foul in the box by any interpretation.

Ok you can say their opinion isnt better, so therefore yours aren't too.
Just don't accuse me of being biased because I don't like the manager. I was against a lot of bad decisions made on us that people said it was the right decision like the David Luiz pen/red against Wolves, the Xhaka offside against Lester, etc.
And I'm sorry, yesterday was nowhere near a foul in my book.
Never in fucking doubt.
The progression that Arteta has made with the team since late December has been very impressive.
Still have to work on our finishing, but I think that will eventiually come good.

the pundits were having a mare, one of them almost had a breakdown saying Arsenal didn't deserve a point despite us dominating 80% of the game
ball isn't even out of play, anywhere else on the pitch no one argues it isn't a foul

By LabouredPatriot Go To PostThat's more of an open answer than I was expecting. I guess the Mbappe and Haaland approaches haven't gone well. So, we’re getting Haaland then?
I thought Musah looked quite talented when he played in the friendlies. We played him as a CM even though he's used as a winger for Valencia and he looked very aggressive despite playing outside of his traditional role. He definitely looks like a really good prospect. Super excited about this.

Arsenal fully deserved the win

Barca probably want to worry more about being able to pay their players' wages week to week.

It was a penalty, the laws are clear enough as to why. It just doesn’t happen often and if players were trying to force that scenario they’d probably do something to address it
I’m happy to accept it, and there shouldn’t be any outrage over it, just as there shouldn’t be this forced outrage here over a late shoulder barge
By LabouredPatriot Go To PostBarca probably want to worry more about being able to pay their players' wages week to week. They never did tbh but we’ll see what happens under Laporta.
I knew Musah was at Arsenal for awhile but did not realize he was there for 7 years before going to Valencia. Thank you Arsenal for developing him. Ja Gunners Ja.
What is the argument saying that it is not a penalty?
I presume it was because the shot was already taken, but then how else would you punish the foul? Anywhere else on the pitch, a late challenge like that is a foul.

Hannibal would have a few senior appearances were it not for injury. He gets kicked every week in U23 games.

I expect the argument would be that he misses the ball and swings his leg towards Davinson Sanchez, at which point he isn't in control of the ball, But it's a flawed argument because Sanchez is going to make contact with him regardless and is never in a position to play the ball himself.

I should be earning millions working as a pundit
You would better pundit than 90% of theses fakers who are paid to talk
Most of them are just TalkSport trash talkers
By cRrusheR Go To PostSee to me that’s a clear yellow that could be argued it should be a red. Lamela deserved a warning.Lamela was lucky to be on the pitch for as long as he was, he got away with a few fouls that he could have got carded for. Could also be argued he was lucky to just get a second yellow for that foul as well, I've seen plenty of those given as a straight red.
By Meier Go To PostThe time change leading to later games for a couple weeks is annoying.America first as usual
By Meier Go To PostThe time change leading to later games for a couple weeks is annoying.I'm the opposite, I actually like it lol. CL matches at 4pm my time is luxury.
Got some excellent news. A friend of mine got to see the regional budget for 2021 and in there it's included that all public employees on a short term contract with at least two years on the job will have permanent contracts meaning that if all goes according to plan and budget is approved next month, my contract will become permanent.

GG bro.
My government has issued a pay freeze on all public sector workers, which of course with inflation means a pay cut. Tory cunts.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostEngland giving the US some competition in rounding up African youthsCouple other multi-nationals with African heritage (Nigeria for both of them in this case) might be in the mix soon: Folarin Balogun (Arsenal) and Chituru Odunze (Leicester, also eligible for Canada). Odunze was called up in November but hasn't been capped yet. Balogun has played for the US youth but has recently been playing with England again. He posted this though:
