Why is this guy made of glass?
Bloody hell
I mean even all my friends, Liverpool fans or otherwise, who despise United still love Rashford. To see someone come into his position and use it so positively is more than refreshing, it’s faith-restoring.
He isn’t just a sanitized “you can be anything you want!” athlete, he’s standing up against the status quo. He’s a proper role model.

Honestly what's the game coming to if you can't simply take your opponent off at the neck with impunity. Game's gone Geoff.
I don't know if I can trust a man who campaigns for impoverished schoolchildren to not go hungry.
What does that say about his strength of character

Snowflakes can't reflect, always on the defence.
By Anya Taylor-Sad Go To PostBrobbey went to Leipzig
It’s funny because he’s going to a club that is not playing as well as we do. And they also throw around money at players and it’s far from sure he’s gonna get more minutes there right from the start. Careerwise it’s probably the worst move to make. So I hope the money can make up for it. Using us to negotiate better terms with Leipzig is dirty af though. I always loved this guy, watched him coming trough the ranks for many years now. And finally on the doorstep of proper first team time at 18 years old he decides to play games with Overmars and leave. And now we’re in a position where I’d rather see him rot away on a training pitch but he can actually be important for us. So yeah, that sucks.
By Cleff Go To Poststill remember leading Milan to glory in my FM 2011 save with Pato, Wilshere, Gotze and Mvila. Unstoppable team
By Hitch Go To PostDo Leipzig actually pay that much for their players by top 5 league standards?
I mean I know Brobbey was on a free.
Transfermarkt says no.
I hadn't heard of Brobbey until the other day when I saw the Ajax lineup and I was like huh, Brian? I wonder if he can qualify an American passport?!
RBL is a nice stepping stone. It's a pretty natural progression from Ajax.. definitely an equivalent level as Dortmund nowadays to put yourself on display for a next move.

Not a whole lot for top league standards. But probably quite a bit more than Ajax do.
It's easy to hate red bull clubs, for good reasons, but they don't seem like a bad place for players to go at all. Not young players either

Where the money comes from is obviously questionable especially in the 51% context, and I'm not a fan at all of the multi-club structure, but it seems to me that they spend the money very wisely. More current Brentford than 2013 QPR.
By Hitch Go To PostDo Leipzig actually pay that much for their players by top 5 league standards?Nah germans just like to complain about them
because they will only allow bayern to bang them in the ass
By LabouredPatriot Go To PostWhat Newcastle need to do here is get it in the box for their striker to score, and show intensity. No desire. I look at that team and I don't see anybody who is willing to stand up and kick somebody in the neck.
By LabouredPatriot Go To PostI mean I know Brobbey was on a free.they sign youngsters for small amounts to develop them and then sell for a profit. Rangnick built their system after all

They lack the fundamentals, Ninja.
God if Joelinton had only cost £5 million you'd still say Newcastle has been completely ripped off. He just gets worse every time I watch him.
By LabouredPatriot Go To PostIf we get Mbappe and our rivals lose their best player, this would be one of the best trades ever.
Everyone would be happy; PSG fans, Madrid fans and Barca fans.

It may be contingent on KM going but if KM heard Messi was coming there's no fucking chance he'd leave.
By Frustrated_me Go To PostOhh I didn't think PSG would be mad to sign Messi and keep Mbappe, I guess that could happen, yeah.
Keep thinking PSG really need to spend big on their midfield. I'd be more scared of a PSG that did that than one that got a 34 year old Messi.
Thinking about it some more, PSG signing Messi might be their shrewd way of forcing Mbappe to sign another long term contract - assuming Mbappe stays.

By Cleff Go To PostWill never stop laughing if Barca lose Messi and replace him with Aguero.I'm betting on Memphis
Veratti is pretty good so they'd only need 1 great CM assuming Neymar or Messi play as a 10
