By Vini.lad Go To Postprob the last minute winner from welbs against lester in 15/16Not even for any of the trophies after that m8? Sounds like Arsenal are an outlet for something else my boy.

I don't think FA Cups are relevant aymore. That's why we actually win them. The big dogs don't really care.
I want Arsenal to compete for big things, I don't even try to get my hopes up because it already brought me a lot of hatred in the past, so I prefer to not really enjoy the wins or suffer on defeats.
My clubs don't give me joy anymore, but I also don't go full depressive when they do badly (often the case), so I guess that's something.
I've experienced our longest ever title drought (seven years) during my high school years. But even then I still find joy in watching the club compete and try. And some seasons were utter shite, but that's part of the beautiful game ain't it. Even worse when there's an entire revolution going on at the club and on the pitch everything goes wrong as well.
I would be having more fun now as an Arsenal fan than the last year or two. Few young players performing, a club stalwart in charge, little bit of underachieving after a dynasty and some boring managers. Big parallels with Ole’s lads.

Basically how I feel, best I've felt about arsenal in years
By LabouredPatriot Go To PostWow, looks like cancel culture has its next victim. Sad!So much for the tolerant left.
By sohois Go To PostSeems a pretty stupid decision overall, did they expect him to keep massively overachieving?
Only needed to avoid an embarrassing season to keep his job even if relegated. They didn't.

What we reckon? Next job at GB News or Newsmax?

1 of These is fine, but those combination is something most clubs would want to stay away,
By Dan Go To PostGundogan has won PL player of the month. He's only the third German player to even win it all
The first German player to win it back to back.
Question time: Who were the other two?

Sane?
Jurgen was first ever winner in 1994. Sane won in 2017.
I wonder if this generates any signficant money for us, we pump so many players through our academy.
Weeew.
Klinsmann was my guess due his position as a striker and knowing he wasn't bad.
Otherwise I would have prolly picked Ballack or Özil, if you wouldn't have said no to them earlier.

By LabouredPatriot Go To PostHad completely forgotten that Juan Mata came through RM.I think I never even knew.
This shirt places him at Real Madrid in the same season as David Beckham so, in a way, what comes... around... or rather how the turntables... oh the ironing. Makes you think, is the point.

By Kidjr Go To PostErm ozil won pfa player of month 3 times? That’s PFA, not the official award: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Premier_League_Player_of_the_Month
By Kidjr Go To PostOh is that like that player of the year and writer player of the year thing. So confusing. It's awful how many awards there are in the prem
By Cleff Go To PostDunno if this is a good idea.62 league appearances in 5 years*, not a great record. I remember he seemed a great player in the 15/16 Europa.
*Only one more than Phil Jones.
Me dad once took me to Roker Park to see Klinsmann play when he was at Spurs.
We lost 0-4 and Klinsmann didn't play.
Next week he didn't take me and we beat Man United 2-1.
Maybe everything is my fault.
