Barca are so fucking shit off the ball throughout the team. Nowhere near being an elite club these days.

Lovely result, decent performance. Our play basically died when we went 2-0 up, got away with it though.
These shots of Pique and Busquets sitting outside shellshocked. Them and Messi have been part of some of the greatest generation of players Barcelona once had.
You've seen it with many great teams and players. Time has just caught up with them.
But which teams greatest generation robbed their own team blind and close to bankruptcy. Wonder how they'll be remembered if the club really goes bust.

Every time I watch Pique he looks a lot slower than the last time. Basically playing in reverse at this point.
Barca's transfer policy seems to be to find the slowest, weakest players, and shove them into a system that leaves huge gaps between them.

But I think most fans know that the brain dead board is the one to blame, they got the world's biggest transfer fee and wasted it completely on players that didn't fit anywhere

There's no way he would be in a decent form.

If we're specifically talking about Messi, the Barcelona fanbase seems to only care about him and his career, nevermind the club which hes going to dump onto them; the club is in financial ruins, Messi is (all things considering) past his prime and the only concern is Messi's well being. Meanwhile he's robbing the club dry and doing them dirty publicly out in the open but the only concern is Messi, and not the club, it's very strange indeed.
What Barcelona should have done was rebuild properly without Messi, bank on a high fee transfer (record breaking?) and patiently wait until there is identifiable talent that fits a style they decide upon. With Messi there, I feel like they're trying to shoehorn players/managers/styles hurrying up to "not waste Messi's years" and just shooting themselves in the foot.

Their options at CB must be even worse than our's then.

.
thats easy, most Barca fans only started following the team during the Dinho-->Messi era. Their identity is tied up with the man, not the team. They don't give a fuck about the club, not really.
By Pennywise Go To PostSevilla will go through tomorrow.Don't even remind me. People celebrating Rose-nmontag as if he's already starting tomorrow. But no. Pretty sure Terzic will ride the train to the end. Whether that means Europa League or no international football at all.
So La Liga still got at least one team through.
PSG deserved the victory, Barcelona had extreme trouble even creating decent chances. Busquets and Pique probably should have not started for different reasons mind you. I am also not sure why people are acting surprised at these results and performances by a team that are completely lacking in so many areas. Shout out to Lenglet for being terrible for the entire season, blaming Koeman though would be unfair because the team he inherited is a version of Barcelona that is not even sliver as dynamic or threatening than the teams from 2006-2015.
Barcelona have had amazing success for such a long period of time, but age has caught up with so many of the players and the terrible mismanagement by the board has only made things worse. All this of course will never erase all the joy the club has given to its fanbase, especially the assembly of the greatest club side of all time. What a time that was.
Both ties from today are over. Leipzig really did themselves in with their terrible give aways. Liverpool can kick on from a good result in the CL.

Considering it basically confirmed they want to keep Terzic within the club in some form, which is okay. However, if the derby result is another miss, there's just no chance they can keep him as coach and that will surely taint a future together in whatever form.
Either get Labbadia or someone else in until the end of the season or take another lucky shot with Maaßen (U23 coach, who is doing incredible well).

Search your feelings Penny. You know it to be true. Terzic will continue and we will lose (points) vs Schalke.

Should make a move either way, because it's just not working.
I like Terzic and there are a shitload of different circumstances, but he chose to take the position and deserves alot of blame, just like the team deserves alot of blame. Same goes for Zorc and Watzke regarding some decisions.
Really hope we also get rid of Kehl, cause he ain't fit to take over Zorcs position either. Just get Mislintat back.

Messi generates huge income for the club, the whole Messi is to blame angle pushed by spanish media is really nothing but a PR stunt by the former board. Messi and his teammates are also responsible for all the success and defeats the club has experienced. His "decline" has him still being a top 3 player on the planet, the fact that PSG chose to trigger a low release clause for Neymar was only one step toward the current situation. Messi is not to blame for the fact that the board kept giving in to his contract demands, you blaming fans makes no sense.
The treble of 2015 is where things really started falling apart, not in the sense of success on the pitch but that the treble saved Barts job, and the stupid socios missed the forest for the trees and voted him in yet again.
Losing Neymar embarassed the club, so they reacted by signing a player with great potential. Dembele has been at the club for a while and still can not shoot and his decision making is ass.
Griezmann had a rough start but is actually a really fantastic player. Coutinho was a key player for Liverpool but playing for Barcelona seemed to be too much for him. People need to stop comparing the Barcelona from a decade ago to this Barcelona you currently see. Pretending that beating this Barcelona is some sort of historic achievement is ignoring everything that has gone on at the club for the past 5 years. I am still astonished that they can compete in La Liga with Real and Atletico being so dominant and effective in the transfer market.
P.S. It's pretty smart by Eberl to push the issue. He needs to start planning the next season, extensions and transfers WITH next year's coach. At the same time this puts more pressure on Dortmund, who are a huge rival for top4 and their Pokal opponent, due to the terrible Terzic situation. He has been confirmed as everybody expected to be a lame duck. None of the players will give their life for him, performances will stay lackluster and another coach before Rose will also not change that, unless it's Sammer but he's definitely out.
Think Barca is having the same issue Arsenal has (had maybe, with Saka and Tierney starting to take games by the neck now) where no one seems like a leader and they're 1 goal away from collapsing completely, think there are just too many failures that the dressing room just can't get past from, with today and the Bayern game being just the latest

Having those weekly interviews with the press with annoying questions regarding the future of Rose is surely a pain, but it's still not as bad as the situation they'll face now.
Everybody lost now.
I don't think Sammer would have changed alot. The team doesn't interact with him. Not alot of players were even born when he was playing and the name doesn't really put alot of fear forward, for someone who hasn't coached for such a long time.
Either way it's not gonna happen.
