incredible goals from GOAT today
Brighton drop points in another game they should have won. Would be pushing for top 8 if they had anyone clinical in their squad. Give them Callum Wilson or Ollie Watkins and they’re in dreamland.
Completely forgot that Brighton were playing A. Villa.

By Willkiller Go To PostMartinez signing of the season don't @ me
Up there for sure.
Who’s been standout? Watkins, Martinez, Wilson, Dias probably. Maybe Everton’s lot have a good shout too.

By FootbalIFan Go To PostDid you see the video of him conceding the title raceBack to Dortmund?
Seemed quite down
Could be real
If true - and I haven’t seen it anywhere else whatsoever- I can imagine what happened with his mum has affected him so much he doesn’t feel he has the fight

Some great signings for sure but I think Dias and Martinez are head and shoulders the best. Probably got to give it to Dias if City continue their defensive form
Porto just drew 2-2 with Boavista. They had 2 penalties but missed one.
4th straight draw for Porto. If Sporting wins on Monday, will be 10 points ahead of the second place.

By Freewheelin Go To PostWillian is the WOAT signing of the seasonI will say Felipe Anderson has to be in the running. It's only a loan but he must be one of the best paid players and he probably played around 300 minutes so far.
Martinez would/will be very unlucky to not be considered it. Unreal season for him. At a bare minimum he surely has to finally get a call up for Argentina?! Should be their #1.

He should be their number 1 since then.
Was looking to this album during the week. Really great.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostDoesn't have Henderson covering for him going forward or back, for one. He did have Covid too.
Lol is this true? Damn is he bad now or…?
By Vini.lad Go To PostMartinez was already getting called up when he was with us but wasn't a starter.Only been called up twice according to his wiki but the last one was 2019 after an 8 year wait. I guess it’s probable/possible that Argentina just hasn’t played many, if any, games since then.
He should be their number 1 since then.
Trent is bad right now but expecting that a 21 year old should be 100% consistent for years on end is a bit rough. His form will come back in sure

As a full back I'm not sure it will. I just don't think he's cut out for it, completely exposed this season. If you need to keep throwing midfield resources for cover or simply....lose, I don't think that's a sign of a good full back. I think it's telling last season when he was posting insane numbers that people were already talking about his future being in midfield
Isn’t that just because he was so gifted with the ball? No surprise that he doesn’t look as good with no VVD/Gomez/Matip next to him either.
TAA and Robertson have always been defensively suspect (Robertson less so) imo, it's just that their attacking play was so good last season no-one could really take advantage. Now other teams are figuring them out and their shortcomings are magnified.

Yeah that's the point, he's very gifted with the ball. Not gifted at all in defence. Even with VVD etc back, teams now target him because he's a massive weakness , that won't change when they're back.
