I wish I’d got into basketball as a teen. Today I woke up at 8, watched the Nets game, then the highlights from the other games, then Arsenal, then Spurs, then United, then Liverpool and now I’ve just turned on Clippers-Bucks midway through Q2. I would have fucking relished this as a kid. Days like today are few and far between now. God bless Sundays.

It was all I could do to not laugh.

McDominos is probably never going to be as good at crossing as players that play in wide positions. His role is different, and the same applies to other players who play centrally and don’t have as much experience or opportunity to practice squaring the ball from there because their role doesn’t demand it.
It’s not the easiest ball in the worse to get right either. The defender is well positioned and the natural spin of the ball is working against you, i.e. you have to play the ball in a path that takes it closer to the defender than you would like because you don’t want it to take a trajectory that forces the runners to slow down too much or stop (as that would make it easy for the defenders in the middle to intercept)
