The final day of the Brazilian league was insane. Flamengo had beaten Internacional on the previous round to take the top spot of the league but on the last day they were losing to São Paulo. Internacional was 0-0 against Corinthians, a win would take them to their first league title in more than 40 years.

For everybody celebrating Manchester United getting another hard draw think again. In the space of 15 days they have to play 5 games against Man City, AC Milan x 2, West Ham & Leicester while everyone of those teams they face either only has to play 3 games or has a significantly easier set of fixtures. United will be knackered & play poorly because of it making the games shit. I look forward to the inevitable injuries as well.

Also Chelsea have an easier fixture run. They play 5 games in 18 days giving them 3 extra days rest and one of the games they play is against a mid table side.

Man Utd is a great draw, will be almost a CL game and it has been too long since one of those. I don’t rate the squad or the coach, but we’re in a horrible shape right now. If Milan wins fine, if we lose then it’s time to focus on that top 4 spot and get back into CL proper. That would be fine as well, so I’m going into this with no expectations.
