By sohois Go To Postyeah but even accounting for that. (and I chose AC Milan because their finances have been so poor that I bet they offer similar amounts to Napoli and not much more than Atlanta)
Napoli is a good comparison, they pay about as much as them every year (actually a bit less), but they also use around double of Atalanta yearly on wages. Donnarumma and Zlatan are not cheap lads, they cost like 7 and 6 mil a year. While Atalanta dont even come over 2 mil for their best paid.
By Doicare Go To PostIt's funny that the supporters of the artificial fake money clubs are saying history doesn't matter. If we run the numbers, we will find out that the amount of players choosing to play for the 8-9 historical clubs is about triple of those choosing to play for the plastic 3.
Mbappé wants to join Real Madrid
Sancho left City to go to Dortmund and now wants to join Man United
Sané left City for Bayern
Upamecano was wanted by everybody and signed for Bayern
De Ligt was also wanted by everybody and chose Juventus
De Jong chose Barcelona
Almost every German player picks Bayern
Pogba went from United to Juventus and then back to United again
Ronaldo went to United, Real Madrid, then Juventus
I could go on but the majority of the world's best players still want to play for the historic clubs because they care about them and the majority of players that sign for PSG, Man City and Chelsea are the mercenary type who are in it for a pay check and the chance to win some trophies. They have little to no genuine love for the club, they never dreamed about playing for them & it's just a means to an end.
The young players the oil money clubs sign tend to go there not because it's their first choice it's because the big historic clubs either don't want them or can't afford them.
Anyway, it's irrelevant until this summer. Whoever signs him eventually is getting a monster. And will be dealing with a monster to sign him.
By Meier Go To PostMissing the pointNobody is saying club history is the ONLY factor players have when picking a team but it's a fact that most top players choose to go to the successful clubs that are ALSO historic instead of the clubs that are JUST successful. People can stamp their feet and put their fingers in their ears but that's just the reality, City & Chelsea have won trophies in recent years but more people still dream of playing for Madrid, Barca, United, Liverpool, Bayern and Juventus than them.
I'm gonna stake my claim and say that even if Dortmund don't make the CL, they'll still hang on to Haaland this summer.

Not gonna happen.
The following summer when his release clause of about 100m € is active, that will be a real clusterfuck.
By Scum Go To PostEvening, Bungie. Good entertainment from Totnum tonight?
Easy win
+ assist for Dane Scarlett (16)
Cause UEFA don't want two matches locally on the same day, and arsenal are also playing the first match at home

By Pennywise Go To PostNo one is gonna sign him this summer anyway, unless clubs are absolutely going all out.I imagine it is 50/50 that he leaves this summer. Obviously with Sancho you guys showed you will dig in your heels if the offer isn't right (and Dembele before that), but I am sure there will be teams willing to pay whatever the asking price is this summer.
Not gonna happen.

I don't remember Zidane starting the diamond formation this season, and starting the 4 first team midfielders seems risky.
Feels like an Asensio brace might happen..

By Frustrated_me Go To PostWhat a play that was!Aye, great composure by the ref.
It's a clear goal scoring oppurtunity, Mendy is mainly left footed, that was a direct shot on goal without the foul.
By batong_skating Go To PostAye, great composure by the ref. He's done well, yes.
