By s y Go To PostSurprised they're bothering with another season but HBO is in the streaming race nowAnd winning.
some very good performances in WOTC.
Not gonna lie, when Dookie's actor showed up I was a little stunned.

By Kabro Go To PostI have a soft spot for Jodie Foster ever since Contact. Why hasn't she been in more things.
Let's do this.
Always wierd how some actors just vanish overnight.
By friskySHOOKface Go To PostStranger things was alright but yeah best to finish it for good in season 5
Part 2 in July
I'm with you on this. I enjoyed it, but Part 1 is self indulgent as hell, and it's not as consistent because of it.
Writers need to stop using Stephen King school bullies as a crutch, so damn much. Can't stand that shit.
True Detective as a whole had like two decent episodes lol
McConaughey was essentially emo Duke Nukem

I watched the first episode of Stranger Things S4 and just don’t care? It was arguably the biggest show on Netflix for me but I just don’t care, it’s been so long since the last season, and there are better shows out now. That entire first episode was 1 hour 18 minutes of ‘oh these kids are having a hard time now in high school and this rando girl is now the host of the alien dude’

fuck
Steve Harrington remains the best thing about Stranger Things. The kids (teens) just aren't interesting anymore.
Ok, I've watched the first two episodes of Stranger Things S4. It's better than I thought it would be and definitely better than either S2 or S3. It looks fantastic and you can tell they poured a lot of their massive budget into direction and set production. It's not overly CGI heavy either, which is a good thing.
My biggest issue with the show so far is the lack of focus. There's 4/5 separate plot points and they keeping cutting back and forth with them. It's hard to really get invested with what's going on.

Are we ever going to get some Star Wars media from outside this narrow timeline? They doing prequels to prequels.
By You got 14 bricks right there? Go To PostAre we ever going to get some Star Wars media from outside this narrow timeline? They doing prequels to prequels.I think Obi-wan is a sequel to a prequel of a sequel.

lol
They got Andor coming which is a prequel to a prequel.
They need to give me something 1000 years before or after this timeline.
By Lupercal Go To PostJonathan looks like he's 45 years old aswell. What? Norman Reedus is looking great
Stranger Things is really the only good thing Netflix has going for it. Up to date with S4 and really enjoyed it.
Last night's Barry had some amazing set pieces. I love that when the car hit the motorcycle, they didn't show the hit but just filmed the driver's seat perpendicularly. Don't think I've ever seen that before.
The high chase scene was filmed like a videogame but in a good way.
The reoccurring bakery dude and the Fuchs "redemption arc" were funny too. What a show.

Haven't been this impressed with a live action set piece since Mr Robot.
The dealership guy going "not today" fucking killed me 🤣
By Frustrated_me Go To PostWe Own This City episode 6Incredible mini series.
Fuck… Do not skip on this show.
Only serious issue is with the lead consent decree lawyer. What a goofy ass character. How are you black, in your 30s, work in the courts for years and just now realize the system is completely fucked. How do you work in the civil rights dept, directly report to the government and be shocked that you're powerless? Her scenes were pain to watch in the later episodes.
But I did not expect Sean's character to go the way that it did. Knowing that it actually happened that in real life is......what the fuck
Also uhhh goodluck Baltimore. Probably one of the most depressing epilogues ever.
By Lupercal Go To PostSo We Own This City will probably be only 1 season then?Yeah, it was only ever supposed to be a 6 episode mini series. It's about a specific Baltimore based investigation. Anything more would be overkill
David Simon cockteasing me again.
Finished my third Bojack rewatch. Still one of my top 3-5 shows of all time. Watched it with the GF for the first time. She was initially really dubious but really liked it by the end.
There’s bits in that show as true and as real as anything ever written. Masterpiece.

I'd very much enjoy watching this.
Think you mean VPN?
Enjoyed Stranger Things, but felt like it was a bit slow and the whole storyline involving Mike, Will, Jonathan etc was pretty pointless.
I think the writers have realised that those characters are a bit boring.

There’s enough humour and warmth in there that I find it rewatchable regardless of the tragedy

Bojack is a top 10 show of all time. Up there with I Cladius, Sopranos, The Wire, etc.
