Good casting for the new Doctor. Only watched Ncuti in Sex Education but he's excellent in that.
But the success of the show really depends on the writing. Jodi Whittaker tried her best but was let down by the rubbish served up by Chris Chibnall not knowing what he wanted to do with the character. Steven Moffat had his faults, but generally wrote entertaining episodes, even if the overarching story was a bit muddled.
The return of RTD will hopefully bring the show back to prevalence.

^ agreed with the above: Whittaker really let down by Chibnall’s writing.
Speaking of RTD, just watched It’s A Sin. Stupendous telly. I don’t remember crying like that watching anything.

Doctor Who is proper shit
It really is fantastic, 10/10 miniseries for sure

Couldn’t believe the scene in the bank. And the bit that got me the most was Colin’s mum talking about how the funeral home would refuse to handle his body.. Mind boggling to think how recent it was.
HBO Max really snatched the streaming crown in terms of content.
The UI just needs a fucking overhaul. No image preview when seeking, can't go to content main page from its 'keep watching' page, no 'more episodes' or 'next episode's button within the video player etc.
Not as bad as Prime Video but it's really letting the content down.

Did you ever watch Sky Castle or Vincenzo?
The Lakers dynasty miniseries is 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼
The scenes with Kareem and Spencer (yo it's Avon The Wire!) especially are magic. Casting on point everywhere, Buss is a riot. Love the energy of this show.
This and WeCrashed have been the surprises of the year so far for me. Great TV.

Solomon Hughes deserves the Emmy tbh
But they're gonna give it to JCR annually. Calling it now
EDIT: what am I saying, I forgot supporting vs lead
But they'll give it to Jason Clarke

i use netflix for international stuff and disney for the kids and the occasional show that would be on hulu in the US.
I like all the UIs except for sky (UK cable type thing). Prime is cool, decent recommendations everything broken into sections and your most recent watched. What more do you people want

Westworld 4 trailer out. Couldn't be less hyped
I don't even remember season 3 except it had the same ending as Fight Club. Rancid stuff. These mystery box shows should just be miniseries because they never have any fucking clue what to do after season one

I don’t remember much of three, but I feel like a similar overall opinion but opposite approach.
IE, it wasn’t very good season but I liked the end. It wasn’t fight club. It was that human consciousness is easier to predict and force outcomes than AI IIRC. Westworld data was always used for manipulation of the real world
I’ll watch 4. Beautiful show tbat’s sci fi spliced with period piece with high production value. Should be great stoner show heh

Prime feels like walking through 3rd world market where every salesman from every brick n mortar shop trying to sell you something all at once.
I know there's a way to sort by Prime only, but just having shit you have to pay extra for on the main page sucks. Same problem with Apple
By Freewheelin Go To PostPrime is awful esp for 4K contentI agree with the 4k point.
All about the hrs of content these days, although I do like the Pod yourself a gun one for the Sopranos.
By data Go To PostI do like the X-Ray stuff in Amazon. Surprised it's not more common.Right?
Discovered so many soundtracks and actors I wouldn't have using those other bum UIs.
I have never been able to tell the difference between All In the Family and Married Ellipsis With Children. My brain combines them instinctively
Al Bundy, Archie Bunker-- it's like Alanis Morrisette and Alyssa Milano

Ed O’Neill is set to star opposite Jacki Weaver and Laurence Fishburne in The Sterling Affairs. The Modern Family alum will play the title role in FX’s six-episode limited series about the downfall of Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling amid the team’s drive to win a championship under coach Doc Rivers.Larry Fishburne as Doc
The Sterling Affairs is written by Gina Welch based on the ESPN 30 for 30 podcast reported and hosted by Ramona Shelburne. The series tells the behind-the-scenes story of Rivers (Fishburne) and the Clippers’ quest to bring a championship to one of the historically worst franchises in all of sports during the impending downfall of the team’s owner, Sterling, whose notoriously racist behavior is brought to light amid the power struggle between his wife of 60-plus years, Shelly Sterling (Weaver), and his mistress, V. Stiviano.

Winning Time was great.
Even tough I knew the outcome, the tension was great.
And not gonna lie, made me ten times happier that Jennie got her ring.

All that talk about RoboCop being added to Fortnite has made me want to watch the old RoboCop TV show.
Hopefully the fact that he is being added to Fortnite and there's a new game coming next year, will help the purposed RoboCop Returns get a push forward.
It's written by the same writers from the original and is a direct sequel from the first one.
