Sorry about that. Paramount ignores the Azores at their peril
By inky Go To Poststar trekI didn't mind the Pike stuff in Discovery season 2 though
it will suck
Spock? Kind of. Pike? Not really
Penguin will probably be great as Farrell is a fantastic actor.
Still tho. Nobody needs a fucken origin story for a Batman villain.

How many fucking times is ray liotta gonna guest star on Just Shoot Me? Just skipped another one of his episodes.

Another SW thing set on a desert planet. Have they landed an incredible 10-year lease on a location in a desert country or something. What's going on.
Luke, Tattooine, and Lightsabers
Anything beyond that won't be approved by Disney because nerds are afraid of new and interesting things in their IP because of nostalgia

Disney's star wars should change its name to Local Squabble.
All the galaxy and the EU to play with yet somehow everything happening in Tattooine.
By LFMartins86 Go To Postwhy tho
By Daz Go To Postyh, pretty muchIt's literally in space with magic, travel anywhere in seconds, and sentient advanced aliens that can communicate with any other species. You can legit make anything up. Anything.

Instead we'll eventually get GotG and Star Wars crossover.
By Koko Go To PostI'm so, so, so nervous for Kim and Nacho
Still have to finish my BB rewatch before April. Only got season 5 left
New trek is terrible. Sat down with Picard and all the time i'm thinking "i could be watching TNG instead."
So that's what I did. Started a binge of TNG.
So that's what I did. Started a binge of TNG.
I binged them all recently, so I'm stuck with ... nothing. Watched a couple of episodes of the latest Discovery season, no thanks, Picard S2 I don't even wanna start after the abomination that was S1. Strange New Worlds is gonna be shit as well, no doubt. RIP Trek.
Maybe try giving The Orville a whirl? Even if they take a lot of inspiration from TNG trek, it's pretty good.

5/5 show, one of the best in a long time
Severance is pretty good so far I think. Concept is pretty wild. From the “inny” perspective, reality just keeps going with no gaps. Elevator closes as the day ends and then opens as the new day starts.
The actual show is wild too. Curious where they take this. What they’re doing on this floor?. Why departments in the floor are separated?

Curious to see where the story goes too.

I just hope it's not cthulhu again, cabin the woods style. it's always fucking cthulhu
Sources note that Filoni and Favreau were concerned about Obi-Wan covering similar ground as Mandalorian — the Lone Wolf and Cub-like story of Kenobi coming out of hiding to protect a child-aged Luke Skywalker. Maul was one of the villains who would participate in the hunt for the pair; Vader was nowhere to be found in this faraway galaxy at this stage, according to those with knowledge of the project. Also, Filoni and Favreau pushed Chow and the show to “go bigger,” according to several sources. In any case, those concerns made their way to Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy, who pressed the pause button. (Joby Harold was eventually hired as the show’s new writer.)Disney very publicly hiring nonwhite people with much fanfare before quietly replacing them with white guys seems like a lucrative model

Yeah man the digs at work like balance hit me lol 😂
It puts so much power in the corporations hands too. Outside of physical abuse, they can get away with most anything.
I like how they just substitute made up versions of what their “outty” does for discussion inside. They even have to imagine sleep based on their bodies energy levels lol

Came into this thread to talk about Severance, happy to see there's already a discussion on it. Great show.

So yeah the goat room and the dual versions of the death painting could definitely mean some sort of cult thing.
Loved the way they handled Helly and the elevator in the beginning of episode 5.
