nah i don't think he had anything to do with it actually
it's this guy that followed him around w/ a camera from like 98-05 or so to the Grammys after College Dropout
just an assload of behind the scenes recording and private footage of his comeup
shit like this
or the first time he got on a track w/ Hov
2 eps are out now and the last one comes out next week.
Jesus christ the Kanye documentary is fucking nuts, it's perfect. It's really just perfect. I can't believe how good this is.
Seeing Kanye through the lens of Coodie makes me appreciate the old Kanye that much more, he was one of my favorite artists back then and this documentary just brings back so many good memories man. His vision and drive was unparalleled, dude oozed talent and made sure the whole world knew through his hard work and dedication.
edit: just saw the above post, yep.

The making of Slow Jams with Jamie Foxx was special too. I had heard of the story before but actually seeing the footage was really cool. Kanye has so many classics, it's crazy.

Meanwhile on BelAir they really need to do something to make Carlton likeable/sympathetic soon. He had his issues in season 1 of the sitcom but it’s just too much in this.
Season 5 of R&M just felt like they leaned way too hard into the idea of nerds liking the 'lore' of Rick & Morty
like I just want dumb jokes and Mr Poopybutthole

was watching the kanye thing on netflix. no idea what i expected, but it's really good. and it's fun to look back at how things were in the early 00s.
went to bed halfway through the second episode, so i have no idea if it's still coming, but i hope there's some film on his process of writing music.

Lmao the first episode of the Law and Order revival starts off amazingly.
Victim is notBillCosby who is murdered after being released from Prison.
Anthony Anderson closeup: "Every Victim deserves respect, even the ones that rape 40 women"
*Cue title sequence*

Euphoria finale could be a series finale and I’d be satisfied at this point. Very good season
Cassie hitting the wall literally and figuratively was wonderful and well deserved lol

Edit: the actress that plays NotCosby's wife's first acting credit.....is the Cosby Show.
Watched first two eps. It's... good... without blowing me away just yet. Feels like the hook and stakes haven't quite kicked in yet.
By Zabojnik Go To PostI'm hearing great things about Severance.creepy af. worth watching

By blackace Go To PostProbably found out his netflix joint about to get cancelledOh yeah, wild that's still on. Groening must have got a 4-season order at the jump or something
Also, am I misremembering or were the lion's share of the straight-to-dvd/comedy central revival eps garbage?

Today, Apple announced that it’s brought on Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail to write, direct, executive produce, and showrun a new Metropolis show for Apple TV plus as part of Esmail’s overall deal with Universal Content Productions.oh oh OH!
Got bored and started watching Bel Air. I actually quite like it. I have a strange dislike of when they use lines for Will ripped straight out of Fresh Price but Carlton being a straight up cunt is something I am into tbh. He pretty much was in FP early on tbf.
And Aunt Viv... good heavens. Honestly I quite like all of the reimaginings so far apart from maybe Geoffrey. But he has only really had the opportunity to be fairly one-note so far in fairness.

Kanye doc episode 3
I knew the ending would loop back to the Donda and Kanye footage from the apartment, where Donda tells Kanye about the giant looking into the mirror and seeing nothing. Just knew it.
Also you can tell everything went haywire after Donda's death. Kanye lost his rock, his equilibrium, his buddy, his mother, his everything. He tried to find that same connection with his father, but from the limited footage that was aired during this episode you can tell there was zero connection between Kanye and his father, and it was tough seeing Kanye search for Donda in his father - she's just not there.
Kanye is just a lost boy without Donda, it's as simple as that. I feel for the dude, I understand it.

Kanye after he lost his mother went off. You can clearly see it that he thinks his rise to fame killed his mother. He's been different ever since.
