By LFMartins86 Go To PostSaw the first 3 episodes of Bel Air. That show made some wild decisions mainly with turning Carlton into a drug addict that seems to be the antagonist.I really didn’t like the first episode. But if you say it gets better then I’ll check the second episode
Thought everyone was completely unlikable on the first episode but it got better on the other two episodes.
Interested in seeing how they push the story forward.
I hate the fact it’s super serious drama as opposed to likeable comedy like the original show

The “ViacomCBS” name is being retired.
CEO Bob Bakish on Tuesday announced that the merged company will be known as simply Paramount, beginning Wednesday, Feb. 16. (The parent company’s legal name is technically Paramount Global.)
ViacomCBS had been the name of the conglomerate after Viacom and CBS agreed to re-merge the two companies a couple years ago. Since then, the conglomerate has put all their resources into rebranding CBS All Access as Paramount+, with the streamer considered a home for all the company’s entertainment brands, including Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central and BET, among others.

Yup, thought it was very average personally.
I thought the CW show was the only Batgirl thing but apparently there's a movie and michael keaton is reprising his role? lfm what's happening
It's an HBO Max movie. Details are a bit vague but this is part of the DCEU and probably happens after The Flash messes with the timelines in his upcoming movie.
Keaton's Batman is seemingly taking a bit of Nick Fury role in the DCEU.
Leslie Grace (played Nina Rosario on In The Heights) is going to be Batgirl, J. K. Simmons is back as Gordon and the main villain is going to be Firefly played by Brendan Fraser.

Bel-Air is pretty tight. The marketing presented it really poorly and made it look like some half-ass shit.
I really like that change actually. Carlton will come around just like he did in the sitcom. We forget he started out as a "the law is the law" coon and did drugs cause he was stressed out about exams and shit. So it makes sense to turn all that up to 11 to start out with.
nu-Hilary is fine as all hell too and they gave her some brains

I'm horribly conflicted on what I think of Bel-Air. I'm watching it but it's just a bit too over the top in some respects.
When every provider has their own streaming service - you need content to keep people subbed.
We're getting a fucking Moon Knight show FFS.

Just said not 10 min ago because friend mentioned Cuphead show that they're out of ideas so it's just gonna be series after series adapted from video games now.

Okay...this last episode of Bel-Air may have just cemented this show is trying too fucking hard. It's absolutely shitting on the source material in the worst possible way.

amazing hour of TV. as much shit as Sam Levinson cops for his process (absurd hours & unstructured production, cast whining) I'm not mad at it when I see the final product.

The Endgame feels like a Blacklist spinoff but its not. I dont see this one sticking around long but what do I know. The main people didn't catch me like Red Reddington and Liz
