By DerZuhälter Go To PostLoved the last two Boba episodes. Give it all to Dave Feloni I don't care what n8 thinks. Truth is, Feloni is still busy fixing the timeline that was ruined by the sequels.True.
He'll get to new stuff next and it will be great but he has still unfinished business due to Clone Wars and Rebels.
But kinda weird still to have all these Cartoon characters showing up.
By DY_nasty Go To Posti kinda feel like other shows do what euphoria does, better, without making it their central theme more than anythingDo tell, which other TV shows do this?
By Frustrated_me Go To PostY'all are crazy, season 2 has been nuts. The church and coming out scene at the end of episode 3 (think it was episode 3) was elite level in TV/film making.Euphoria is too hot rn people finding reasons to hate
By s y Go To PostEuphoria is all style no substance, writing is a complete mess but it's entertaining. It’s mostly a bunch of people whining because the story isn’t playing out exactly how they want it when they want it
Second season has been borderline ass though, that's seems to be the consensus online
By Lunatic Go To PostI'm under the impression that it shows graphic depictions of children exploring their sexually.
They’re all well into adulthood for real though. And nothing in the show is unrealistic or uncommon for a HS experience other than everybody around Rue not being able to tell that she is constantly higher than giraffe pussy
The drug lord lady who casually agreed to give her money to a junkie is pushing it. Like if Gus decided to partner with Jessie instead of Walt 🤣
Never got the whole "kids fucking" complaint though. Everybody in the show looks like they're 25 or older. If they looked like kids then sure but they don't.

By Frustrated_me Go To PostDo tell, which other TV shows do this?Junkies and manipulated young ppl?
What show doesn't is a better question
By DY_nasty Go To PostJunkies and manipulated young ppl?m8 spill it already, what other TV shows do it this well if not better? With this much flair and style?

Respond so I can offer a rebuttal.

Showing adults pretending to be children is troublesome as fuck. Just not my kind of thing plus I have a 16 year old little sister so these shows bother me on a personal level.

By pkaz01 Go To PostI finished the Expanse.. anyone seen this Vox Machina show on Amazon?I've watched it and enjoyed it. Bear in mind that it's an adaptation of a Dungeons n Dragons campaign played by voice actors on Twitch. So there's lots of fanservice and small in jokes involved.
The voice acting is quality as you'd expect from Laura Bailey, Matt Mercer and Liam O'Brien. I thought it was good, but I can't really be objective about it as I was already a fan.

Watched first 3 episodes of Pam & Tommy today, decent enough. Tommy's cock obviously being the highlight. The animation! Naughty Dog would NEVER.
By Hixx Go To Postis it a full season dump or, yuck, weekly eps?First 2 out immediately then weekly from then on
By reilo Go To PostI mean The Wire is the most obvious fucking example of all timeThe Wire is the GOAT alongside The Sopranos.
EDIT: if the question is depict drug impact on youth
But I find Euphoria and The Wire very different, and I appreciate that they are different in the many ways which they are. Yes they both deal with similar topics (youth and drugs) but both shows present the topic very differently, in very diffeent settings, nevermind the style in which they're shot in.
watching pam and tommy on a whim and looked up the cast. This is lily james:
fuuuuccccck, right?
this is lily james as pamela anderson:
hats off to hair and makeup. I thought I googled the wrong actress lol

Yeah impressed with that. First episode wasnt that good though I thought.
Eh yeah. They are going for such wildly different things, that it's a bit silly to compare them. About as comparable as always sunny to mad men, cause both are about people being egoistical cunts at work.
Skins probably the one I can think of that is comparable. Although it's clearly very low budget vs something like Euphoria, but also just a lot funnier imo.

no you didn't.
so im on episode two and continue to be impressed by the casting and makeup
I know Pamela Anderson from Baywatch via borat but I don't think I've ever heard a single motley crue song. Were these two really that popular? Tommy Lee was just the drummer.

Having first come to public attention as Michael Knight in the popular US series Knight Rider he went on to star as LA County Lifeguard Mitch Buchannon in the series Baywatch, which at its 1996 peak had an estimated weekly audience of 1.1 billion viewers
this HAS to be bullshit right?
Nielsen averages were a bitch.
But Baywatch was watched around the world so maybe it could be in that range.

About Motley Crue...
they did ok...
Mötley Crüe has sold over 100 million albums worldwide.[4][5][6] They have also achieved seven platinum or multi-platinum certifications,

By reilo Go To PostBaywatch was huge globallyThey loved Baywatch in Germany if memory serves me right.
By reilo Go To PostTotally did. I remember that very well. 90210, too.
By s y Go To Postno you didn't.It was the film thread, my bad.
But, yeah.
The makeup talent on hand is nuts.
By s y Go To PostNope, Baywatch defined the 90s
this HAS to be bullshit right?
First season tanked though apparently and was cancelled but then started again two years later with the new found Pamela and later Carmen Electra.
It was basically soft erotic entertainment at some point for the whole family 😁
By s y Go To Post
this HAS to be bullshit right?
Doesn’t shit like this usually mean has the potential to be watched by 1 billion.?
estimated audiences were always extrapolations from "representative" samples of people, so if 1 in 7 of the people they tracked watched Baywatch, then they'd extrapolate a huge number.
Yeah i highly doubt that 1.1 billion number is true. They used to do this back in the day with potential viewers. So every person in x country that has the channel could pontially watch it. No doubt it was huge though.
Baywatch btw. always ran during the afternoon in germany. Weekdays @ 4PM, it was mainly watched by kids and housewives.
Yeah, it was also pretty huge on Portugal. It's definitely one of the biggest shows from the 90s. That had to be most dangerous beach in the world, something was always happening.
Anyone remembers Pacific Blue? It was being sold as like Baywatch but with cops on bikes.
It loops about 3 time but it was the best quality video I could find of the intro.
