On Tatooine, Cobb Vanth, marshal of Mos Pelgo, confronts and shoots Pyke spice runners. Djarin flies to a forested world to visit Grogu, and is greeted by R2-D2. As Djarin rests beside a new Jedi temple, Luke Skywalker trains Grogu to use the Force. Skywalker helps the youngling to remember his home, who recalls fellow Jedi dying during Order 66. Djarin finds Ahsoka Tano, who leads him to Grogu's location. Since Grogu's bond with Djarin may hinder him, Tano elects to hand the Armorer's gift to the youngling, while the Mandalorian returns to Tatooine. With Skywalker and Tano watching, Grogu dodges shots from a training remote. At Fett's palace, the crime family discusses their manpower shortage. Djarin goes to Mos Pelgo to enlist Vanth and his people. Promising to help, Vanth sees Djarin off, before Cad Bane, an associate of the Pykes, arrives in town. After a standoff, Bane shoots both the marshal and his deputy. Two Pykes bomb the Sanctuary in Mos Espa. In the temple, Skywalker allows Grogu to choose Djarin's gift and to stop his training, or Yoda's lightsaber and to be trained as a Jedi.
The latest Boba Fett was fine. Like, it's just pure fanservice, but it's entertaining.
Best parts were Timothy Olyphant cosplaying as Space Raylan Givens.

I only watched the first Boba episode and didn't care for the Mandalorian, so I say just give me proper fan service now: recast Luke and Leia and send them on an adventure where they have to fight some geezer with a red lasersword.

By Lupercal Go To PostThose Boba Fett spoilers read like teenage fan fiction. It really is, lol
By Zabojnik Go To PostIs anybody watching 1883?Never heard of it so just looked it up and I'm watching it asap.
I watched the first episode yesterday and it seems pretty good.
Thanks m8
By Freewheelin Go To PostNever heard of it so just looked it up and I'm watching it asap.I kept seeing the episodes pop up on my distros, with a 9.1 imdb score attached, got curious, it's been forever since I watched anything old west.
Thanks m8
Taylor Sheridan and Sam Elliott, hard to go wrong.
I've yet to watch any Taylor Sheridan TV but enjoy his movies. Even, yes, DiCaprio 2. Sort of.
DiCaprio 2, autocorrect?! 1 is bad enough!

Star Wars now is like middle aged Al Bundy still trying to cling onto his 4 touchdowns in one game period.
By s y Go To PostBroad City is ok I guess
sounds about right. was alright for a few seasons, but i was burned out on it.
may revisit it.
i can only assume patton oswald's character from parks and recs is the one writting book of boba fett
I'm still watching Ozark because my wife loves it, but I have a question. Is there a term for TV shows/literature where the plot is basically "Here's the plan > plan got fucked up > here's a miracle fix > you tell everyone to trust you and they continue to work with you > you create a plan with partner > plan got fucked up > here's a miracle fix > repeat"
This show and Sons of Anarchy are prime examples of this.

Euphoria is very good, not sure why it gets hate here. The cinematography, editing, soundtrack, narrative are all on point. One of the best shows on TV right now.

There is so little good tv shows on air that I kind of agree. But first season was just alright for me, second has been a lot better.

I enjoyed the first season, haven't started on S2 yet.

Euphoria is all style no substance, writing is a complete mess but it's entertaining.
Second season has been borderline ass though, that's seems to be the consensus online

Is that from the youtube reaction videos?

He thinks it's for nonces for whatever reason.
(no one tell him about skins)

By s y Go To PostReviews, Twitter, reactions and other social media all seem to agree that season 2 is mid. 🤷♂️What? All I've been hearing is that Euphoria is a huge hit, S2 keeps on improving in terms of ratings.

I've seen the exact opposite. I like it fine enough, and I am getting sick of how much people are praising it on twitter/fb. Rated higher overall on imdb so far as well.

Its not entirely unexpected though, especially with the character writing considering a couple of the actors apparently don't like the creator/director. Most recently the actress who plays Cat walked out. Which explains her story threads starting then disappearing. Same with McKay.

It's every fucking week on all threads and so on about tv and often even films.
and uhm unlucky/good for them I guess.
By LeonidDikapriovLung Go To PostStar Wars died when David Lynch refused to direct it.What the fuck is a wuukie?
Y'all are crazy, season 2 has been nuts. The church and coming out scene at the end of episode 3 (think it was episode 3) was elite level in TV/film making.
All I know about Euphoria is that there's a hot naked chick in it. I'll put it on the watchlist.
Boba Fett Episode 6 : Holy shit, they are getting really good at the deepfake thing. We are never getting out of the OT timeline now. Get ready for endless TV Shows and cameo's of people / things you know. Also, the writing is bottom of the barrell dogshit which fanboys will lap up like pigs at a trough.

Euphoria is basically Young Adult Zack Snyder. Just enjoy the the pretty visuals, copious slow motion and melodrama.
i kinda feel like other shows do what euphoria does, better, without making it their central theme more than anything
