Why would I want to be in step with Star Wars fans?
Not like it's a cultural event that I'm particularly interested in theorising about like Lost or Breaking Bad anyway, absolutely nothing has surprised or subverted my expectations so far. Probably why I'm leaning towards dropping it, there's too much good stuff to spend dozens of hours on stuff that feels like it's middling by design.
Disney+ seems surprisingly good for people who are getting into old-ish comedy and drama series, didn't realise they had that stuff

By Patriotism Go To PostA Worf only show would be about how he somehow lost his house and status (again) whilst he bangs on about honour over his prune juice, all the while shitting all over Alexander for not being enough of a Klingon.Sounds dope ngl
Watched the pilot for Yellowjackets and yeah I reckon I'll stick with this.
First ep. is free on YouTube.

By Kidjr Go To PostGive me more marvel. Need to up their "content" output imo, enjoyed all of them but Loki was best. You'll get more in less than two weeks.
Hawkeye looks like the most entertaining Marvel show so far.

You can see it happening, too.
He'd find love only to lose it asap again. Man can never be happy.
By Cleff Go To PostWorth watching? Was before my time
Definitely worth a watch.
Surprised Lizzy isn’t coming back. She can’t be that busy. Inside Job is the first thing I’ve seen her in for a while.

Legion is on Disney Plus. The series went off the rails near the end, but season 1 is still the most enjoyable run of episodes I've watched in a long time.
Speaking of Viacom On Demand, Discovery is back on tonight. I only really like the Fuller season, everything since that has been ehh.. decent? Not Picard depths, but not as engaging as season 1. A few high-high points like the Saru "I'm actually a kelpian like you" stuff last season, but then a lot of the rest of it it's like who could care? I mean even season 1 ended kinda wonkily. Inconsistent but worth watching still
I still like the Burnham character but the show needs some more creative ideas beyond the hugely disappointing thousand year timeskip where the Federation is literally trapped in a bubble without progressing at all for a millennium plotline desperately

Like I said, inconsistent. Fun stuff inbetween boring or unfulfilling nonsense. Actors are still all good. But it's big budget Star Trek, so even at medium quality it's always worth a background watch imo
man.... :/
s2 started off decent enough but it got so absolutely dull and the character focus was just so strange. tilly? really? idk
it all ended with one of the worst space battles of all time too. probably best i just wait for pike then

Wheel of Time is out. The opening 5 minutes of the premiere is very poorly handled. Once they switch to the Two Rivers things get better, but it's still very exposition dumpy.
Big series spoilers ahead:
They also want to keep you guessing about who the Dragon Reborn actually is. I don't mind that so much, but implying that it might be a female ruins the premise of the series. It's too obvious a misdirect. Unless they actually decide to do it. Which would send the fanbase raging.

Foundation S01e10
lol well that was a beautiful disaster. The Empire parts are the only decent parts of this series.

Lizzy Caplan's hot
And yes, yes she is.
By s y hulud Go To PostI thought HBO had south park…paramount+? smhThe series is on HBO Max but Trey and Matt signed a 900M$ deal with Paramount for 14 movies that are going to Paramount +.
Watched the first episode of Arcane on Netflix. Solid enough for me to want to watch another.
I know nothing of LoL, so I'll just pretend it's set in the Dishonored universe.

By Cleff Go To PostEp three wasn't much good either.Well, that sucks, but I can't say I'm surprised.
I dunno what it is, but everything looks a bit too glossy.
By Zabojnik Go To PostWell, that sucks, but I can't say I'm surprised. It's getting somewhat favourable reviews elsewhere, so it could be that I'm just overly critical. The sets and costumes look rather good, it's just that everything looks too clean.
