I don't now, I really enjoy Foundation as well. It's super high budget Sci-fi. Even if some plotlines move at snails pace I really love the aesthetic, cinematography (except for fight cinematography which was woeful so far) and the fact I have no idea what might happen next.
Watched the first two episodes of Invasion. Anybody who recommends to stick with it? Because that show has been boring me to tears so far.

I have really enjoyed Foundation, but was telling my mate yesterday that as it stands it is not great.
I did think the last two episodes were great.
AppleTV finally made its way to Korea, so nice able to enjoy it legitimately.

It has good and interesting parts, but it doesn't do a lot with them. I feel like the good stuff came from the books.
As a whole it's mediocre. Still watching for the production values

Finally getting to the newer seasons of Young Justice. Forever pissed off with CN for shelving a show that was approaching JLU tier.
the new league of legends show o netflix is pretty impressive visually.
First 20 mins didn't grab tho, so I dropped it.

The finale of SVU season 19 is awful. I wish the main dude didn't turn out to be the bad guy and justify Olivia being the dumbest, most unprofessional cop ever. There was legit no evidence and she just believed the kidnapper.
Ted Lasso deserves every single nom and award it got. Just binged the 2 seasons and damn it's amazing.
Up to date with LoL: Arcane.
I've never played the game and have no clue about who the characters were going into this. So I absolutely wasn't expecting what occurred in ep 3. That was fucking dark. Now I have to wait for the next batch of episodes.

Huh
By Cleff Go To PostWill only watch provided they keep the original theme tune. No remix or remaster. They should keep the original opening too. In fact why don't they just play old episodes of the show

By n8 dogg Go To PostAll these fucking stupid Marvel shows lmao. Who the fuck wanted Agatha HarknessIve never watched any of the marvel shows but from Twitter alone, that Agatha character was a fan favorite. So her getting a show is not surprising.

Imagine if we applied this to everything
The Ugly Naked Guy origin story. The Soup Nazi’s tragic past. Mr F the spy spin-off. Pine Barrens sequel following the Russian.
Fuck the modern world.
By n8 dogg Go To PostImagine if we applied this to everythingIt's not television, it's content. That's Disney's entire formula, it's only going to get worse from now. I imagine they will have some web-exclusive 10-15 Quibi-style shows in production soon if not already.

By Daz Go To PostWeird thing to complain about in a world where youtubers are literal millionaires.what's the correlation?
By n8 dogg Go To PostImagine if we applied this to everythingSure would be weird if a popular sitcom created a spinoff around some minor character like a psychiatrist who hangs around with the main cast. And other spinoff about some relatives of one of the main characters

Luckily they were too principled back in the old days of TV
If we're reducing Marvel's TV outing to mere "content" is actually astute is what I'm saying. Easily digestible, referencial, reactionary and trendy.
Maybe tiktok is a better parallel.

then ignore it holy shit lol
I don't even think we need a marvel thread anymore. most of yal would just post there anyways

the exception is not the rule.
By n8 dogg Go To Postthe exception is not the rule. But loads of popular American sitcoms had spin-offs. One of your original examples actually had a spin-off in Joey
By n8 dogg Go To PostYeah, and it was shit. And I'm sure all the Marvel stuff will be as well.
By Not Go To PostDeep Space Nine was the Worf/O'Brien spinoffAnd that's why it was the best Star Trek series.
It was about a union man.
