Knew of him but didn’t really know him, so spent some time watching some vids yesterday. Don’t really get the love. Smiled at some vids but nothing hilarious. Maybe you had to be there.
His style seems to appeal to a particular sense of humour. Don't really get him myself but he does have a large following.

People with HBO Max, S1 of Superman & Lois is now available and it's definitely worth watching.
I've only seen half of the first season but it's the best live action Superman since the Christopher Reeve movies.

By Daz Go To PostYh, that's really late, I would have imagined the score would have been part of pre production. As far as I'm aware, composition is usually done after filming. The film is edited without music and then the composer uses the footage as inspiration.
Edit: Here's an explanation
They use placeholder music until the composer writes the actual score
The more you know.
I thought composers were involved much earlier, makes their work all the more impressive. Capturing the the feeling of scene after the fact.

By Daz Go To PostThe more you know.Even with someone as meticulous as James Cameron, they only start work after principal photography: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avatar_(2009_film)#Music_and_soundtrack

most music is only done after the video is done so you know the composer can sync up the music to the film as it will be

I know there are people excited for Foundation. Didn’t know anything about it, but this got me hyped.

Speaking of finishing a show before Foundation hits, I (finally) watched the first two seasons of The Fall over the past couple of days, S3 is on the menu later today. It's not doing anything particularly groundbreaking, just a competently written and well acted serial killer drama.
The pacing in S2 was a bit uneven, but I liked the direction they took with it. Hopefully the final season doesn't disappoint.

By Lunatic Go To PostIs the entire season of Foundation coming out or is it a weekly affair?Weekly.
Ahh similar to how Amazon did with the The Boys and HBO with RBW. Actually don't mind this style of releases. Can actually get some discussion going.
Not every show but there for sure have been premiers have most definitely been two episodes to kick things into gear and get people hooked
Underground Railroad should have dropped weekly. Most gorgeous tv show ever shot just disappeared into the ether
Mando, Loki and Lasso discourse should absolutely prove weekly drops are the way to go.
Mando, Loki and Lasso discourse should absolutely prove weekly drops are the way to go.
Given the weak endings of most shows but most especially Netflix shows the full drop works for them because they don't actually care about people finishing the entire series. They want people to watch just enough in the early getgo and call it good to increase word of mouth
By s y Go To PostSitcoms should only be released in bulk.
I guess? There’s no reason why something like Schitt’s Creek shouldn’t drop in one go, but there’s zero chance Ted Lasso would dominate as much if it wasn’t weekly releases. Guess it depends on context.
