Not in the UK but I am glad I have a VPN, I was able to take a risk and do that deal that got me Paramount + for a year and half for 20$.
Speaking of VPNs, I dropped HBO Portugal and with the savings I get from subscribing to Prime in Amazon Spain as they share their Prime services with Portugal (36€ a year for Prime with free shipping and Prime Video instead of 5€ a month for Prime Video alone), I am subscribed to HBO Max.
Their catalogue is excellent, already did a full rewatch of The O.C. and I am almost done with Person Of Interest but recently I remembered that they have S3 of Young Justice and instead of watching a recap of the previous seasons, I decided to rewatch it again from the start.
It's easy to see why it is such a beloved show.
It strikes the perfect balance between something that appeals to teens and a more adult fan base.
The storylines are exciting for teens as they are about growing up and discovering their true identity.
The show respects the original characters and gives it space and storylines to breath and grow.
The DC cinematic universe might have some issues in comparison to Marvel's equivalent but their animated universe is leagues above.
I can't wait for tomorrow's debut of S3 of Titan's. Seeing a live action adaption of the Red Hood storyline is going to be crazy.

Holden is a dumbass. Why couldn’t he get headshot by the rail gun
Amos would make a better leader and he’s supposed to be the “dumb brute”

By Hitch Go To PostAmos would get Earth blown up in a matter of hoursAnd it would be the correct call because it might end up saving humanity
nah.... amos draws his strength from not giving a fuck. holden works because he cares about everyone ever to a fault while also being a lucky moron who keeps finding ways to surround himself with absolute legends - each happy to let him be the face
First episode of S3 of Titans surely went in, love that they don't have any problems in portraying Bruce Wayne as a terrible guy.

I am surprised since the first few episodes weren't all that
By faridmon Go To PostSo its good series?I enjoyed the first 2 seasons even if both had endings that were kind of weaker.

Saying that, the first 3 episodes of season 3 are probably the best the show has ever been, even if right now it's more of a Bat family show with the Titans as the supporting cast and it's rushing through the Red Hood arc at lighting speed.
Ending of episode 3 really got me down, Krypto is such a good dog.

I loved Boardwalk. It was a slow burn; seasons started a little meandering, but the conclusions were always worth the wait and the acting was just superb every single week, every single season.
It isn’t The Wire/Deadwood/Sopranos, but very few things are.
By bud Go To Postepisode 9 of season 4: "whoever did this."Not on the level of Sopranos or TheWire. Writing quality is just not up to it, but it's still a really incredible series with one of the best castings I've ever seen. Don't think there's another series that was so on point with their choices.

By n8 dogg Go To PostThe season with Jeffrey WrightVincent Piazza, Jack Huston, Anatol Yusef and others I've never seen or heard of before.
mashallah
Introduced the world to the GOAT Shea Whigham too
Also Bobby Cannavale was just so on point.
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostSuperman and Lois is aite. Bigger budget than I thought.Yeah, that and Kung Fu are actually quite enjoyable

Daddario’s husband needs a brick or two over the head
Dylan Moran (and Lenny Henry!) is gonna be in the Witcher prequel show.
Don't think I've seen him in anything since that Simon Pegg film Run Fatboy Run. Great in Black Books, surprised he seems to have had a quiet acting career.

It’s really good for not really having much of a plot point lol

Caught up Ted Lasso S2. Really surprised about the Sky Sports involvement. Big question for me: is Roy Kent going to meet Roy Keane soon?
