By Cleff Go To PostThe show runner for the first season of X-Men 97.The stupid thing was the reason of his firing had been kept a secret but yesterday he decided to use the outrage of that case where Disney alleges that they can't be sued for a death of woman in their parks due to severe allergy because the woman had subscribed to a Disney+ free trial and had agreed to the terms to not sue them to claim that Disney had removed him from the credits of S2 due to an instagram post where he put his face on a half naked Cyclops for Pride.
Apparently he had agreed with Disney not to post anything related to show after his firing but he didn't kept with his end of the bargain.
This is not the first time he was fired from a show, he used to work for The Witcher.
Wild how Marvel / Disney really was just letting him step away quietly. Man wouldn't stfu and exposed himself. Narcissism is a hell of a drug.

I was wondering about this. They ended the show in a a sort of open ended way leaving the viewer with some questions and a possibility for a follow up. The second season will have no source material to draw from though. I loved season 1, but will be cautiously optimistic for a second.

By inky Go To PostApple TV is the true Sci- Fi channelSeriously.
Maybe it's time
Shame they cancelled Constellations.
Industry is much improved this season you can tell HBO kinda gave their team some help to position it as a feature show for them now that Succession is over.
Ratings are way up for it too

By reilo Go To PostI was okay until the twist within the twist and the montage
Apparently there is no twist withing a twist ending in the book.
By Fenderputty Go To PostApparently there is no twist withing a twist ending in the book. The wife doing it made so much sense given how much they devoted to their relationship in the story
By FortuneFaded Go To PostAaaaaaand so it happened. A friend telling me that the Acolyte sucked because it was too woke. He thinks they are shoehorning non straight characters in the shows and that the main actress was so bad that she must have been hired just because of the color of her skin.
I have no idea where to start. Was going to just laugh and tell him that it was the most moronic shit I've ever heard about a SW show.
Challenged vocabulary turns into woke real fast but that shit wasn't even CW tier. Just awful all around
I think the last piece of Star Wars media I watched was ROTS
Or the clone wars final episodes, whichever came last
Or the clone wars final episodes, whichever came last
It's funny because he didn't work for me as a bad guy. Every time he spoke or I saw him, I just thought "Jason from The Good Place"
I think the premise of The Acolyte was the most interesting SW since ROTS.
Disney just handled it awfully. There were quality moments, but it just fell flat most of the time.
I hope they at least continue the story in the goat form of comics/book.

By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostI think the premise of The Acolyte was the most interesting SW since ROTS.It was intriguing to me because a) No Skywalkers b) A focus on the dark side / dark side character. That's how it was sold anyway.

But it was a meandering slog with barely any interesting characters which tried to string you along with the "mystery" of the 4 Jedi Masters.
Show should've just focused on Qmir and his subsequent journey but they used it to introduce Darth Plagueis and to explain how Anakin got made? Also trying to retcon the Force Dyad from The Last Jedi in there.
The show was rewritten a bunch of times apparently and the bad use of budget makes it another middling SW show.
I just hope they won't ruin Andor season 2 because that's about the only thing that I have real hope for.
By Lupercal Go To PostIt was intriguing to me because a) No SkywalkersOh so that’s why the fanbase hated it
Andor is written by someone with talent and not just some Star Wars nerds that think they can write, so fret not
Finished the expanse
Don’t really understand what the whole point of the colony world is, with the creatures being able to “revive” dead things. Guessing they had to cut a lot of content from the show due to budget. Last thing I remember her and her brother ran into the woods, unless I missed another scene

Acolyte wasn't good but I had fun with my kids who are not happy it the story won't continue and makes me kinda sad too. I agree the premise was good. Force witches are cool and exploring the arrogance of the early jedi as a cause for the rise of the dark was also good.
I was not happy with the open ended ending of the expanse,

I relish the days when a TV show would give you 22 episodes every year.
Didn't realise how good we had it.

I think I'm in the minority of people on here who really like this show but even I don't see why they are doing this.
S1 and 2 were good. 3 was terrible.
Just watched the Lost pilot for the first time. Fun.
Also started S7 of Grey’s Anatomy. Also fun.
