Small Heath, small scale, small means
Could have been a character study set in a rarely represented era that is beautiful in it's own way, instead it's expensively produced trash TV. Worth watching, but a shame. Found series four to be miles better than two and three as there was some attempt at restraint. Halfway through series 5.

Watching Just Shoot Me. IT's decent enough for background sitcom noise but boy does David Spade suck in everything.
Binged Mare Of Easttown yesterday. It was very good indeed, although I thought it suffered a bit from what many other peel-back-the-layers murder mystery shows suffer from, which is ... too many layers, to the point that it all starts feeling rather unrealistic by the end.
But yeah, enjoyed it very much, solid writing, great performances all around.
