He does not mean what u think he means
Watched the first two episodes of Lady In The Lake. Very good.
Props toreilo Apple for financing quality niche shows like this one. A period piece as well. It can't last, as the latest news about them starting to pull money from Apple TV clearly indicates, but while it does ...
Props to

The fuck is sunny
By JesalR Go To PostStarted Sunny on Apple TV. Seems interesting to start withIt gets ok when Devito gets involved.
It's highs are pretty funny but it has a lot of duds.
I know jesal is talking about Sunny with Rashida Jones, not It’s Always Sunny lol
But I will talk about it anyway. I’m in the camp that thinks it has been largely great for 90% of the time it’s been on air, but the last season was absolutely terrible, and a large part of that is off-air baggage.
I simply don’t believe that the surgery real-life Mac and Dee have had done to their faces would go uncommented on by the others, and therefore the show loses all credibility for me.

By Lupercal Go To PostI must be in the minority because those 4 episodes in Ireland were classic Peak Always Sunny.
I liked that season. Latest one was awful.
By n8 dogg Go To PostI liked that season. Latest one was awful.Ah, yeah Season 16 wasn't the best.

Dennis takes a Mental Health Day was great 9/10

Now watch We Own This City.
Taxi is good. I feel like 70s shows had way less stupid writing than 80s shows in general
Wonder what happened

Finished the first season of The Morning Show on Apple+.
I wasn't sure if this was a serious show or complete satire after the first three episodes. The subject matter is very serious, but the characters and dialogue were so ham-fisted and on the nose that I wasn't entirely sure. By the fifth episode though things had picked up and it became a pretty compelling office drama.
Despite the middle of her face being frozen in time, Jennifer Aniston is very good in this. She's given a lot to do and is the one character that shares scenes with every other character on the show. Very nice surprise out of her.

Joe Rogan appears to have invented time travel because I feel like I'm going back in time watching his latest "special".
By Laboured Go To PostI'm sorry you did that.I think I lasted 25 mins and I was already back in 2004.

Frustrating season of The Bear. Fallen victim to far too much self-indulgence; mood poem episodes, far too much time given over to the unfunny Fak brothers and stunt casting cousins, a ludicrous last episode where half the runtime is real chefs talking about food, and a season that had almost non-existent character development, whether progression or regression. Entertaining in moments, with only one episode - focusing on Tina - that can stand up against Season 1 and 2. Concerns me that S4 was filmed at the same time.

I haven't watched season 3 yet. Season two was kinda heavy. Both my wife and I enjoy the show, but man it's not really something to escape to. Carrell does a good job in season 2.

I could've swore I just saw a commercial where they advertise "pay only whatever price and share it with up to 5 friends or family members"

I guess i wasn’t treating the episode like it had something to reveal
Good character work. Good acting.

By Laboured Go To PostI really like Linklater as an actor but his voice sounded really off-putting in that.I dig the show but yeah picking him as Batman was a horrible idea
