As a kid I never really got the Melissa Joan Hart thing but after watching her be interviewed in the Orange Years, I get it. She's fucking cool.

Truly heartbreaking stuff.
wow can't believe black jesus season 3 came out 2019. Had given up on a third season after waiting so long.
Black Jesus season 3 was......ok I guess, like Boondocks, this is another McGruder show that peaked in the 2nd season. The show loses a lot without Charlie Murphy and doubled down focusing on Boonie, which is hit or miss and Slink Johnson carried it hard.

Is Gilmore Girls any good?

Gilmore Girls is so incredibly uneven, I liked it a lot, but I'm not sure I can ever watch it again.
Also fuck Rory and fuck Dean

By LabouredPatriot Go To PostI'd be extremely surprised if you like it.lol yeah
I like the art style and character designs here way more than the usual DC animated look. Seems like an evolution of the Bruce Timm stuff.
Mosquito Coast has been pretty damn good through three episodes. Enjoyed Lisey’s Story episode 1 too. There’s a neat looking sci fi coming out this summer and season two of Ted lasso as well.
I’m pleasantly surprised to be enjoying my apple + subscription

I’m actually debating just cancelling my Netflix subscriptions and re-subscribing whenever there’s something new out that I’d want to watch.

My favourites so far on AppleTV+ so far have been Mythic Quest, Little America, Calls, Ted Lasso, Servant and Central Park. I’m still interesting in watching a lot of the others too — For All Mankind, Defending Jacob, Lisey’s Story, The Morning Show, Tehran, Trying, Losing Alice, Home Before Dark and 1971: The Year That Music Changed Everything.
For All Mankind is worth a shot. It's more of a "grounded" sci-fi by Ronald D Moore who did Battlestar Galactica.

It jumps time quite a bit but the plot/progression is still quite slow. Season is more about the setup of it all and the introduction of characters with some proper revisionist timeline stuff. There are, however, a super-hype/tense scenes in Season 2 that bring it up a bit.

I enjoyed the first season, though "grounded" is right, especially the way the female crew came together seemingly overnight, lol.
EDIT: Posted before your last post, reilo. Good to know.
I want to say Season 2 has more "worth talking about" scenes that move into the category of less about character development and more just plot development which it lacked in Season 1. I want to say I liked Season 2 better? It starts taking the training wheels off.
Speaking of Foundation - any hopes of SCP being done by ny networks? like an anthology?
FRINGE still not been replaced - Tales from the Loop was not it.

Granted I haven't finished reading the first book but he plays a character that a majority of the book discusses having lived in the past. Curious to see how the TV show handles it and whether they attempt to focus on the "beginning".

Some curation could be done. Give it the Love, Death and robots treatment.
By Daz Go To PostDecided to start Invinciblelol
1st episode hooks you for sure.
There was plenty decent about it even though I didn't think too much of its central murder mystery story.

I think overall Broadchurch was better? Coin toss.
