How did we lose Ricky so
By Zabojnik Go To PostNot a single mention of Mad Men, incredible.
I never finished it. Only got like two seasons in and my girlfriend at the time got bored of it. Never returned.
One day inshallah.

I really really should get past season 2 of the wire some day. But until then:
1. Riget (trier show from the 90's)
2. sopranos
3. twin peaks
4. klovn (basically Danish Curb)
5. mad men
6. six feet under
7. curb
8. scrubs (despite it going to shit near the end)
9. always sunny
10. band of brothers
Succession and Breaking bad could trade out for band of brothers I guess. I cant really rank them much from each other.
By n8 dogg Go To PostScrubs S1-4 or so is peak comedy brothers
Yeah, it was so fucking funny. but man, a few of the later seasons really drag it down. Even if ignoring the season where they replace the whole cast
Sarah Chalke not being able to sing to save her life, somehow only made it better.

betty draper... i could fix her.
although i didnt like how her and don killed their son, and adopted a new one every season like nothing happened.

Instead of reddit downvoting I should implement a post strike count that if enough people strike it s y gets banned for a week
By Dazenheimer Go To PostSo called prestige TV is unfun.May I interest you in Disney+ vast catalog of MCU trash?
For network shows, Friday Night Lights and The Good Wife (and Good Fight) have always been underrated.
I haven't watched its first season, but that Elsbeth on CBS is probably decent. The Kings have done well with the courtroom world they've built.

hmm... yeah.
By n8 dogg Go To PostI’ve been rewatching Succession. Great fucking show. It isn’t The Sopranos or The Wire, but then nothing really is.Breaking Bad hovers around my top 3 for sure.
In the 1B tier with Breaking Bad, Deadwood, Better Call Saul, The Americans for me, Clive.
After that, all my faves are comedies. The Office UK (actually my favourite show of all time), Bojack Horseman (although as much a drama as Succession I suppose), Father Ted, 30 Rock, Nathan For You, It’s Always Sunny, The Thick of It.
Deadwood is another amazing work.
Also Rome.
I was not a huge Scrubs fan but was a big Psych fan. It's all about Gus.
Just started watching Psych. Ten eps in. Good fun although the lead is very obnoxious (and the police miss some very obvious stuff he picks up on lol)

lead gets less annoying from season2 on.
The series has a great run from 3 to 5.
But yeah season 1 Shawn is kinda balls
The Wire is great. Watched it earlier this year for the first time since the final episode.
Just made me feel that Sopranos is way ahead of it. I don’t think anything is anywhere near the Sopranos.
Gonna have to rewatch Deadwood. Maybe the last chance to have something on the Sopranos level.
I love Rome.
My favourite HBO show.

All we're getting now are over produced, shrinking episode counts and you gotta wait like 3 years for a new season of you get one.
I miss the old ways. Long form TV was better.
Give me Fringe over all your Bears, Successes and whatever try-hard show Netflix is pushing this week for the bingers.
By Dazenheimer Go To PostHBO haven't topped Rome.
BBC and Rai for the win.
By Dazenheimer Go To PostHBO haven't topped Rome.they should have made a Byzantine Empire spin off ☹️
Mad Men was ruined for me when all these right wing bootlickers used to share a meme of Don Draper “oh you worked 50 hours this week? I remember my first part time job”
Any time I see Jon Hamm I just think of that dumbass meme.

By DiPro Go To Postmadmen had probably the strongest writing in any tv show imo.
but it's unfun.

A lot of it felt forced to me, but to be fair I dropped after one season because somehow Donald is one of the worst MCs ever. And I watched and loved the Shield
I already checked out if it when I red: "Other shout-outs to core fans — we see you, we haven’t forgotten about you — are sprinkled into the dialogue: “May the force be with you” and “I have a bad feeling about this” makes an early appearance."
By Kidjr Go To PostPsy have you rewatched Mr Robot since first watch, how does it hold up on the second watch?Yes and it holds up even better because of the shit you now know. Even from very first scene:
