I paid the whopping 3$ for no commercials. Just got around to season two of Wheel of Time. Like the first it started slower but get better. I felt it was also a stronger season overall

Walt Disney’s ESPN, Fox and Warner Bros. Discovery plan to launch a joint sports streaming service this fall, sources told CNBC on Tuesday.
The platform does not yet have a name or a price.
The competitors expect to form the joint service at a time when the value of sports media rights is spiking, but viewers have moved away from watching on traditional cable.
Disney, in particular, has suffered from a shift away from its ESPN network, and sought new ways to revive the business.

The three media giants are slated to launch the new service in the fall. Subscribers would get access to linear sports networks including ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SECN, ACCN, ESPNEWS, ABC, Fox, FS1, FS2, BTN, TNT, TBS, truTV and ESPN+, as well as hundreds of hours from the NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL and many top college divisions. Pricing will be announced at a later date.
Each company would own one third of the new outlet and license their sports content to it on a non-exclusive basis. The service would have a new brand and an independent management team. The concept surfaces as traditional media companies are grappling with the migration of sports — the last TV format that generates steady crowds and sustained ratings — to streaming venues.
The concentration of top sports under one roof would be significant. Between them, ESPN and Warner have most rights to the NHL and the NBA, while Fox, Warner and ESPN control at present the majority of rights to Major League Baseball. Only the NFL would enjoy a large presence with entities that are not a part of the joint venture, with “Sunday Night Football” at NBCUniversal, “Thursday Night Football” at Amazon and a Sunday afternoon game at CBS.
Seems like we're getting a season 3 of The Terror.
The Terror: Devil in Silver tells the story of Pepper – a working class moving man, who through a combination of bad luck and a bad temper, finds himself wrongfully committed to New Hyde Psychiatric Hospital – an institution filled with the people society would rather forget. There, he must contend with patients who work against him, doctors who harbor grim secrets, and perhaps even the very Devil himself. As Pepper navigates a hellscape where nothing is as it seems, he finds that the only path to freedom is to face down the entity which thrives on the suffering within New Hyde's walls – but doing so may prove that the worst demons of all live inside him.

Finished Fargo S5. Moved in a few narrative circles at times, but the last two scenes - Roy/Lorraine and Munch at the house - were fantastic.
Finally got around to Loki season two and even with all the timeline craziness, it’s still my favorite MCU content. Dude going full circle to sit on a throne for eternity protecting the timelines is a glorious ending. Not even his family will know. A selfless act. Curious if they close the book on this character or if they pull some shenanigans and figure out a way to leave it open. I would be lying if I said I don’t want shenanigans but man it’s a great way to close off the story. A good way to close off Kang too, assuming they don’t want to deal with his legal troubles
I don’t think they’re closing the book at all.
Loki was reimagined in the comics because of Tom Hiddleston, and that’s probably what they’re gonna do moving forward.
Also even if they didn’t want to go that route, Disney would probably pay him unlimited money to return as Loki has been the only post-Endgame content worth watching

They could always, close main timeline Loki off and use a variant. At the end they implied the Antmsn movie with Kang was a variant. That IMO just cheapens the movie even further though and woukd have a similar effect in any future Loki character.

Everything he did in the comics is what plays out in the show, in terms of redeeming him and whatever new powers has has.
The show is the perfect reset for an MCU post-Martin Luther King III for this reason and worked out really well for Marvel. Tom being such a fan favorite in that role allowed them to re-invent the character in the comics and then the natural timing of that character was allowed to run its course in the MCU at the same time the new villain of the next saga was fucking up his career.
Idk I'm already pretty embarrassed at the degree to which all popular media is now catering to millenial nostalgia, but that's just fucking on the nose.
They were never going to nail the voice acting but it's nice nostalgia to see the art and hear the music again.
By RAThasReturned Go To Postfuck, Rogue's back and so is Gambit.
Yes yes yes
they got me.
using that theme is cheating tho.

By data Go To PostI still dont get why they changed Storm and Bishop's look but no one elsesThey had to keep Rogue's booty intact or forty year old man children would riot

Even though I've seen it doesn't mean others have.
Show was too good for CBS and got in the way of their CSI, NCIS, FBI and other cop propaganda shows that my 72 year old mother watches.
The Good Fight and Evil from the King's are excellent programs.

They got most of the living original cast.
By data Go To PostI still dont get why they changed Storm and Bishop's look but no one elsesThe Pimp Named Slickback Bishop is a classic, but at least they didn't do bald black guy Bishop. They seemed to want to pimp the 2020s Bishop, I respect that.
Storm because Mohawk storm is iconic.
