Finally onto S2 of Foundation and it's far more interesting now that they've gotten through the world building. There's actual plot momentum and intrigue.
watched the first episode of band of brothers. was decent. not a fan of Russ from friends though, so good thing he seems out for now.

Reacher feels more like Walker Texas Ranger than Jared Padalecki trying to be Walker Texas Ranger

Better than most shows on that list. Well of the ones I watched anyway. Certainly better than breaking bad, sex and the city and simpsons (unless you are one of those people who only count 1/5 of the show).

Also, I'm gonna need a blu-ray player.

The first three episodes of the second season debuted on December 15 and quickly resonated with audiences. In fact, those episodes surpassed the entire Season 1 audience by 50% in the first three days on the streamer.
Reacher is now the No. 1 title of the year for Prime Video in terms of total viewers across all series and films globally. Currently, the series is available in more than 180 countries.
Season 1 already seemed like a home run for Amazon, racking up 1.84B minutes viewed across all eight episodes in the U.S. (which were released all at once) during its premiere weekend in March 2022, according to Nielsen streaming data. Since Nielsen only measures domestically, that wouldn’t give an indication of how the series is performing internationally.
But this is the biggest premiere weekend that the streamer has had for any series since Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power in September. It bodes well for the rest of the season, which is set to roll out weekly through January 19.

Hard to get excited for HBO stuff after they cancelled Winning Tims. Hopefully this tuns its course.

Just incredible.
Had me on the edge of my seat the whole time.
By reilo Go To PostSlow Horses S3E5: Duffy is a real piece of shitThat's exactly like how it plays out in the novel, too. It's so brutal.
Enjoyed the Doctor Who Xmas special enough. Thought Gatwa was good but not sold on the characterisation of his Doctor yet. Didn’t feel alien enough.
Watching The Good Doctor and they are performing a surgery where they mentioned beforehand that they might have to perform a hysterectomy. Then this happened:
It had to be on purpose.

Noticed a few days ago that Prime Video over here has all seasons of ER.
Midway through S1 and I had forgotten how good this show is.
Some of those long takes are ridiculous for the time, having the camera go through multiple rooms in the same take to show the chaos of the ER.

I'm actually shocked that Joaquim de Almeida was in Miami Vice, never thought I had such early acting parts in America.

went through the entire series last year. one through six or so are the best seasons, and then it goes downhill once most of the original cast leaves.
