By Laboured Go To PostAnyone watched Scavengers Reign yet?Only the first episode, found it suitably alien, both fascinating and off-putting, will continue to watch for sure.

By n8 dogg Go To PostEnjoyed new Doctor Who. Felt like more refined original RTD stuff. Some hilariously on-the-nose and cringeworthy trans awareness stuff in there, though. And yikes - the trans actor who plays Donna’s daughter is genuinely abysmal. So wooden. Hope she’s ready for the trolls…Yea similar thoughts here. Tennant was in his element and brought some much needed fun. I haven't watched Capaldi was still the Doctor so no opinion on the last one although I do love Jodie Whittaker in other things I have seen.
Also, I totally called The Meep being Space Hitler. As soon as the twist happened my wife laughed, rolled her eyes, looked at me and said "Only you would think of that, stupid".

Whittaker completely let down by a showrunner who was entirely wrong for the show. Bizarre politics, deification of the Doctor instead of ‘mad man in a box’ (although RTD does that too lol), rubbish companions, washed out earthy ‘prestige TV’ cinematography instead of being fun. Chibnall was really, really bad.

Dang, Ella Purnell is easy on the eyes.

i think it looks... good?
doesn't scream tv to me, anyway.
shots like these always look off because they never seem to be watching directly at the cg object.
even the mighty cameron with his avatar films hasn't fixed this issue.
