Watched The Pacific again in preperation for Masters of the Air and i had forgotten how brutal it is. Tough to watch in the latter episodes.
By Lego Go To PostThe Fall of the House of Usher is really great so far.Finished it yesterday, it ended up being a bit of a mixed bag for me. Great start, middling middle part, solid ending.
Loved the killings, Gugino is fantastic in this. The parallelism with real world pharma became a bit too on the nose as the show went on. Also, I thought some of the performances really weren't meshing, which might be a consequence of the production woes.
All in all another quality and surprisingly fun Mike Flanagan project, looking forward to his Amazon era.

Well, there's that. There's also the terrible writing, direction, overall story etc
I liked it but more from a Visual point.

I thought The Hobbit trilogy was shit too (is that controversial?) but I was expecting more from this.

Still think the first hour of The Hobbit is pretty good but the whole trilogy suffers from Deus Ex Gandalfia.
