One of the worst written shows I've come across but does some things really well. Monsters are good tho but the show is a mess man lmao
Hopefully this gets a second season. I know that not everyone liked it but I had a great time watching this.
It was a similar experience that I had with Reacher, watched the first episode without expecting much and while I can't say that it's an amazing show, I had so much fun watching it that it only took a couple of seatings to watch the whole season.
Edit: There's a chance that Twisted Metal was a bigger hit for Paramount+ than Halo. Who would had think that would be possible?

If it's as faithful to the game as the first series, I think it could do with a fair bit of cutting down. Biggest question is whether it'll follow the (TLOU Part 2 spoilers)all Ellie then all Abby structure or if it will switch back and forth. Presumably it'll be nigh on impossible for people interested in reading about the TV series to avoid finding out about Joel's death such is the nature of the internet, but there's not much that can be done about that beyond changing the story entirely.
Felt like adhering so closely to the game made S1 run out of steam quite badly over the last 4 or 5 episodes. The Left Behind stuff didn't really hit for me, can't explain why.
