I don't think that was the intention of the show. It started off shaky but once he settled and got into it he did so well that Mattson might now be priced out of the deal on existing terms with Waystar's stock rising significantly as a result of the positive feedback

Seemed clear to me that the show was portraying the presentation as a pretty big, genuine win for Kendall specifically. Not that elements of it won't have future ramifications

It was just everything that is absolutely brilliant about the show condensed into a single episode. I adore episode 3, but in terms of people saying it's easily the best episode of the whole show...I struggle with that because it didn't even feel like a Succession episode, despite it being objectively brilliant.
But this, this was what the show is. Fucking masterful writing and acting. That Shiv/Tom scene should win Best Picture at the Oscars.

Yeah, that episode was one of the best Succ episodes for sure. Unbelievable scene between Shiv and Tomlette
The conversation with logan and the kids at the karaoke has still been the most memorable for me this season, at first the "you are not serious people" line was just good but didn't seem as scathing as it does now since it's stuck with me on the back of my mind since I heard it and has been so relevant
