Tom, easily.

By n8 dogg Go To Posta thing isn’t beautiful because it lasts, brothers.
10 Episodes just doesn't seem like a lot to bring it all together. Always felt like a show destined for 5.
But I trust them of course, will be nice to have another really tight top shelf show.
I am assuming this is the last season?
I am ok with that. After the last season finale, this should needed things to take a 180 or stay they same. No point dragging it out.

I can never get into binge watching I'm sure it makes sense for younger people but growing up on cable tv I'm so used to watching all sorts of shows throughout the week
The things I binge I either really like and am completely engrossed, or end up hate-watching like Peaky Blinders and Lost. Stuff in the middle I can watch two or three episodes in a row, but things like Justified, Breaking Bad, Line of Duty or Unforgotten I could smash out an entire series on a day off. Looking back I think Breaking Bad was perhaps underappreciated in how effectively it used it's run-time. I never felt like anything was being stretched out to fill the episodes, and I never felt that anything was under-explored or corners had been cut. Fly is still by far the best work that Rian Johnson has done.
Waking The Dead had a great structure for the way I generally watch shows, two one-hour episodes per case.

I just read that infamous newyorker piece with Jeremy Strong
Honestly? I respect the fuck out of him now. It all makes sense

By Laboured Go To PostDidn't Euphoria season 2 leave a lot of cast and crew pissed off at Levinson too?His production is chaotic af and he comes up with some wild ass shit. Bless him.
By Laboured Go To PostDidn't Euphoria season 2 leave a lot of cast and crew pissed off at Levinson too?Felt like it. Basically all but 3 characters got written out of the show lol
That's kinda low for how popular euphoria is tbh. Charlie Sheen and Ashton Kutcher were making 2M pet episode on Two and a Half Men. With 24 episode seasons. Every main cast member of Friends were making 1M per episode too.
She needs a new agent.

Idk how broadcasting availability works in the US, but is it really possible for an HBO show to be as popular as a big CBS sitcom?
It's also easy to give Sheen $2mil/episode when that show costs like $2 to produce per episode. That shit was low-budget af.
Sheen's show was also popular world wide and ran like 5 episodes each day on the biggest german channel for example. Nobody is watching Euphoria everyday.
Google syndication.

Obviously an HBO show is never going to be as popular as a highly syndicated network sitcom. I could have made it clear that I knew that.
I was more factoring how much WB is leveraging HBO's streaming service in addition to the show's cable success. These big names that are attached to premiere shows for streaming services are getting paid a ridiculous amount of money.
Chris Pratt got paid 1.4 million per episode for Amazon Prime Video's Terminal List. Zendaya's renegotiation should have netted her a similar amount imo.
Edit: Zendaya having to renegotiate to get paid less than 'Elizabeth Moss on Apple+ tv series" is wild to me.

I can see why Sam Levinson redid the whole thing.

Speaking of Succession, I'm like 5 eps into s2. Brilliantly acted and written show. Shiv might be the most normal one of the family, everyone else is so fucking weird :lol
