My favorite part of the first Game of Thrones seasons was the mostly down to earth setting, you don't see dragons until like the last five minutes of season 1
In this they're just dropping all the magic bullshit on you right away and it looks boring as hell
I think it's more successful overall if there are just hints of the supernatural. One of the many, many reasons the later seasons suck

This new streaming era we live in is trash. They all need to produce so much stupid content to convince people to subscribe to their service.
Walton Goggins and company are set to bring the Fallout series to Amazon probably sometime next year. There hasn't been a firm release date on that front though with filming getting underway now, that kind of timeline seems pretty realistic. And of course, this isn't the only series based on a video game in development right now. We are also eventually getting Mass Effect, God of War, Final Fantasy, Twisted Metal, and Last of Us in the next couple of years. This could be the golden age of these titles coming to the small screen.

A while ago. Twisted Metal has been shooting for two months now and is expected to wrap up production in September.
The guys who wrote Deadpool 1 & 2 are behind it and it's got a pretty decent cast.
Anthony Mackie is the lead, Thomas Haden Church, Stephanie Beatriz and Neve Campbell are also part of the cast with Samoa Joe being the physical actor for Sweet Thoth while Will Arnett (who is also a producer) voices it.

We already have a Mass Effect show and movie tho... They are called Discovery and Into Darkness. (I think Picard also straight up rips off the plot of Mass Effect, but I didn't see past the first few eps.)
I'm cautiously optimistic about Fallout; the cast is great but it's "from the people behind Westworld" so you know exactly how it's gonna go. "The people behind Watchmen" would be a better fit.

S3 of The Boys made me want to rewatch Supernatural.
Midway through S3 already and it's such a fun show. The lore is pretty great and the chemistry between Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki is so good.
Hopefully Ackles run on The Boys will lead to more roles, the guy is pretty good and has an amazing voice, loved his VO as Batman in The Long Halloween and as Red Hood in Under The Red Hood.

Keitel will reprise the role in this 10-episode series, but the premiere date is still unknown.
So he's not even going to be in the film, he's going to be in the shitty tv spinoff.
Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying it but everything outside of the restaurant/kitchen in The Bear kinda sucks. Dialogue and direction just take a nosedive.

Out of all the chaos, Marcus being insanely stupid stuck out the most. What a fucking idiot and baby. Sydney has to do a lot to become even a little likeable after the shit she pulled. She's caused the whole mess, didn't take responsibility, was useless during the chaos and ran away, not to mention she stabbed RIchie.
