I haven't seen anything good with Matt Smith in it since his very first Doctor Who episode
And even that probably hasn't aged gracefully

BCS, fuck man.
Incredible as always, that Gus scene maybe went on for a little too long but it was so dense with implication

The Crown makes everything good tbf. Not once in my life did I think I would be excited to watch media related to those inbred leech cunts.

The Crown deserves so much more love, each episode feels like a very well made movie, most episodes are better than many movies today. Some episodes are so good I can't believe the content is made for TV, that's how good this show is.
There are so many good scenes, these aren't even the best one's but I keep going back to them.

The Crown is boring af, looks gorgeous ofc but there is no substance to any of the ‘characters’. The plots are also really tedious and the praise it gets is so baffling to me
Well-shot show tho

Another great episode of BCS. What’s very impressive about its standing is that most people agree the best parts aren’t the ones most cartel-related / BB-adjacent, but instead the Jimmy/Kim stuff. Testament to the quality of Odenkirk and Seehorn, the writing and the filmmaking. I’m always in awe of the cinematography and editing in these shows; don’t think anyone does it better than this team, and haven’t done since S3 of BB.
Hope that was Gus’s send off. Good note for him to end on; there is nothing more to learn about him. Could maybe get some more of Mike; he still seems a little ideologically distant from the man he is in BB. I hope most of the remaining 4 are post-BB. Gimme a Kim-Jimmy reunion. That break up scene was remarkable. Didn’t need anything else except that to explain the man he became.

The Bear episode 1
Liked everything until the bit where the cosplayers started beating the main dude up and the other guy had to fire a gun in the air. It was so goofy and absurd and took me right out of the episode.
Edit: omg this Gordon Ramsey dude in the episode 2 intro is so corny

The swiftness of HBO getting on board with Martin’s desire to hire Condal was the beginning of a pivot in the author’s relationship with the network. During the latter seasons of Thrones and the early years of HBO hunting for a successor series, Martin sometimes felt out of the loop. But after the original show’s season eight backlash, when many fans protested that the storylines felt rushed to conclusion (Martin had long advocated making Thrones 10 seasons long) and around the time HBO produced and rejected Bloodmoon, all agree Martin’s influence rose within the company. Put simply, HBO thought, “Hey, maybe we ought to listen more to that guy who created all this.”
In 2021, the company signed Martin to a massive five-year deal worth in the mid-eight figures. Every subsequent project HBO has put into development based on his work has received his approval and the kind of close involvement he hasn’t had since the early days of Game of Thrones.
HBO saw that he got way too many pages done during quarantine
I hate it hate it hate it
A cast headed by Naomi Watts was assembled. Massive new sets were built. A Bloodmoon pilot was shot for a whopping $30 million to $35 million.I hate this shit so much
And the result was locked away in a dungeon so deep that even Martin has never been allowed to see it.
“It required a lot more invention; it was higher risk, higher reward,” Bloys says. “There wasn’t anything glaringly wrong with it. Development and pilots are hard.”
Agrees Robert Greenblatt, who was then chairman of HBO’s parent company WarnerMedia: “It wasn’t unwatchable or horrible or anything. It was very well produced and looked extraordinary. But it didn’t take me to the same place as the original series. It didn’t have that depth and richness that the original series’ pilot did.”

Didn't know What We Do in The Shadows was back? Anyone watching? I thought season 3 was drop in quality so I'm approaching with low expectations.

Also I would have quit 10 minutes into that brigade shit if I were Sydney. The Spanish lady also plays her annoying ass role well too.
By Punished Go To PostThe original GoT pilot is in that vault too. Probably equally as expensive.D&D been getting million dollar mulligans since day 1
