I feel bad for anyone still waiting for GRRM to finish his series. Dude spent a year in lockdown and still couldn't be bothered to find the time to finish.
There's a better chance Agent shows up at the next E3.

@lfm
Ludacris playing the entire department and getting away with killing a woman and a baby might be the greatest moment of SVU.
Also had Fin call out stablers double standards.
Might be the goat episode so far

God damn I love that someone actually said "Yes, we'll do it" to Lynch for TP S3 :lol
Just finished ep 11.
Just finished ep 11.
By sy Go To Post@lfmYeah, that's one of the good ones. SVU has some stupid episodes and sometimes handles some things badly but there are some genuine great episodes in there and not many shows pushed the trauma of sexual assaults to the mainstream as SVU.

Besides, Mariska Hargitay seems a genuinely good person who has created a foundation to help sexual assault victims so it's great to see her still on the show after an incredible 22 seasons.

Watched the first series of Unforgotten, liked it a lot
Threads the needle well between the case and the characters, which surprised me given how many there are and how hastily they're introduced.

I'm continuing to watch MASH and I'm still exasperated that the Sony Channel switched from using the no laugh track version to the laugh track version. A somber war dramedy, but now with non-stop laughter. It is so much worse.
Well, that's S3 of Twin Peaks done. What a fucking show, don't think I've ever seen anything like it :lol
Debris was fun but man the pacing and the editing was rough. They just blitz through one event and place to another like crazy yet have a like 5 mins dialogue about their childhood in that plane
It feels like a show that was made lovingly from people who love Sci-go and executives just filtered the show through PR firm
Will continue watch it though

Finished Sopranos
I’d actually completely forgotten how it ends until the last scene starts up.
There’s a popular reaction gif in the finale (when Phil gets ran over)I always thought was from the Wire that I was surprised to see in this though 😂
Excellent show. The shittiness of the characters will keep it from being a personal favorite but it’s definitely earns its rep for quality. I will say as much of a shit Chris is I still liked him (and Adri 😭 as well) all the way through. It’s such a cold/sad show to me from Long Term Parking and beyond.

That penguin looking mother fucker saying oh shit, is peak television.
And yeah, so many sad moments. Tony is a true sociopath and they really show it in the later seasons. I mean it was always there, but certainly makes it clear to even the biggest idiots out there. The kind of people that still thinks Walt in breaking bad was a hero.
Long term parking the driving scene, as she slowly realize what is going to happen. Oof. Also it's amazing how the only one of the crew that seems legit sad about Christopher dying, was fucking Paulie
It's also fitting in the end, how their glorified crew as Phil calls it,is left only with Parisi and Paulie as higher ups. That family is fucking dead, even if Parisi seems competent. Tony was full in self destructive to his business.

Is the last Melfi scene/ep supposed to be a rebuke of the fans
Thats how I started to read those shrink dinner scenes
Paulie at the end sitting outside of Satriales by himself was dark

wtf elliot tipped off a reporter who got the parent of a kidnapped kid harrassed to the point of suicide and they just act like that never happened.
I actually started rewatching the Sopranos, most of the time it's playing like Paul George in the regular season, anytime they have a black character on it turns into Pandemic P. The way black people act on this show is terrible, whoever wrote this has never interacted with black people lol
By Cleff Go To PostParty Down was great... but I have 0 faith in this
I get why it was controversial, but anyone that thinks that the Sopranos finale is anything other than one of the GOATs is insane
SVU season 8 finale was great. Ludacris became a much better actor in the time between his appearances. Darius is by far the best antagonist in the series thus far.
The olivia brother storyline was horrible though

Yeah people were waiting for a pay off there, and obviously didnt get it really. But it's a sensational ending
By Hitch Go To PostAny of you lot seen The Terror?
Yeah, it was ok I think. Not especially memorable (I can’t remember the ending) but something a bit different and a change of pace. And the cast is decent.
I didn’t know there was a second season so make of that what you will.
By Hitch Go To PostAny of you lot seen The Terror?S1 is pretty good, starts out great, kind of fizzles out by the end. Would recommend.
S2 is cacca di cane, avoid.
Is S1 standalone? If 2 is bad and prevents the series from having a satisfactory, I probably won't bother.
Pretty disappointed by S2 and 3 of Unforgotten, characters are nowhere near as compelling as those in the first series
Are there any decent adaptations of the Jack The Ripper murders that are largely historically accurate?

HBO Max has the be the worst streaming service.
Gives you the option to download stuff but you can never actually play it. App only works when I’m streaming off my phone.

D+ doesn’t have the library but as an app, it’s great
Disney + app is pretty trash. Worst UX next to Amazon Prime.
Netflix and Hulu have the best UX of any streaming app I've used. Netflix is on top by a lot tho.

Don’t have Netflix but last time I used it, it wasn’t good experience eitherNah, using it now - its clunky as hell - have to leave the viewing - fast-forwarding preview lags by about 10 seconds - no option to skip intros or outros - little QoL touches like that go a long way Prime has it beat there.

UX - not great but serviceable.
