Lindsey Graham is backing the minimum wage model proposed by Waffle House.
It’s a gradual increase of the minimum wage over time.

Maybe he'll end up on GB news

This for sure.
Does he fit in with GB News? Piers is a cunt but he’s not shy in criticising the government. That doesn’t seem like their forte.

Trumps poor rural base liked his populist economics. Let’s see how a shift to establishment politics affects this bases motivation. Will culture warz win the day?
Favor it as opposed to....?
It's not like there's much of a choice for people still waiting on relief.

Is it too big, small etc etc.
55% of the poorer GOP voters think it’s not big enough or just right. Very few are buying the “it’s too big we can’t vote for it” message. These are the people Trump brought out that normally dislike establishment economics.
We see it with their messaging too. They’re focusing on Dr Seuss and Disney + becuase they know they’re economics are so unpopular

So glad Clarkson decked this twat in the face.

By Fenderputty Go To PostIs it too big, small etc etc.its bad questions on bad questions. and its worse when people try to extrapolate data/impact from it. and here in this case you've got dems thinking there's some ground to be gained from republican voters again. which further convinces me that fart smelling is the official past time of the dnc.
how many people can even feasible wrap their minds around what 'enough' is? how does one even substantiate what 'good faith' is? who's voting on the show of bipartisan relationship building ffs? you can't even define what the implication of some of these things mean, how they're presented, or how they're received. especially when half the work in some offices is convincing the average voter that too little is actually too much.
you see this and its not hard to imagine why there's loose, easily consumable polls like this stuff and massive thinktank products that never get mentioned until there's some scandal about them not fully disclosing all of their information lol
Breh ... I’m looking at this from a motivation perspective. Trump motivated the rural voter and bright them out. Who cares about specifics of size of the bill, it’s the general attitudes that matter. Right now senators and reps are having to explain to their poor constituents why they voted no to a bill 50% of their poor voters want.
trump did not invent, mind control, or activate rural voters single handedly lol
and many of these voters will be cranky for all of 10 minutes then go right back to voting against democrats with a passion. it's absurd how this package gets presented as a yes or no/how much do you like it question whenever its convenient when at the very core of the matter is that a form of this bill HAS to happen. so yes, they'll explain why they didn't like things about this - much like dems will do the same for their constituents who are just as disappointed if not more.
people wanted x and your representatives said no! is an embarrassingly reductive take to run with seriously

Many of his voters in this range didn’t previously vote mane. I’m don’t want them to vote Dem. I want them to stay home.

I don’t know? My original post wondered if these things would negatively impact tbat demographic’s motivation.
We know they want to cling to that new rural voter Trump brought out. Does culture warz alone keep them motivated? They’re the new party of tbe working class, remember
My hope is that a good 10-20% of the Republican base becomes disillusioned with establishment politics and rich people economics again. Maybe toss in a couple Trump bombs where he trashes the establishment lol

because as is "as you can see, people are generally responding positively to the shit sandwich they're forced to eat after starving for nearly a year!" seems more likely to be more koolaid sipping and fart sniffing than something worth backpatting over...
