It's obvious we have different opinions on this topic. I trust the private sector to do more with trillions of dollars than I trust the government with the same amount, well knowing the inherent flaws in a free market.
I work for the government, boots on the ground, I've seen enough of how our tax dollars are spent, it's not pretty and far from being acceptable given how much better it can be.

The democratization of finance is going well
Given that BTC must be purchased by fiat it's not a surprise this would happen as most fiat is owned by a small few majority.
That’s a weird story. UK court demands ruler of Dubai to pay 500 million to ex wife in divorce settlement because of the risk he poses to them. Brits have this kind of power? Damn
She fled to britainland so i don't think he expected her to be able to divorce him, especially not under UK laws.

U.S. population growth dipped to its lowest rate since the nation’s founding during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to figures released Tuesday by the Census Bureau.
The coronavirus curtailed immigration, delayed pregnancies and killed hundreds of thousands of U.S. residents. The U.S. grew by only 0.1%, with only an additional 392,665 added to the U.S. population from July 2020 to July 2021.
It's the first time since 1937 that the U.S. population grew by fewer than 1 million people and the lowest numeric growth since at least 1900, when the Census Bureau began annual population estimates.

Frankly speaks to the inadequate education in America that you have to teach kids to space out in an active shooter scenario.

They got feds up and down a bunch of white supremacist groups, still laughing to myself about how much that kidnapping the Michigan Governor plot was probably them entrapping brehs. Not that they need any defending but the FBI is so suss.
Funny thing is, if she didn't break down on camera they probably could've wrote around it as "I felt threatened" but because she immediately admitted loudly how she fucked up it was pretty straightforward.
