The guy that made Black History Month about himself walked into a wedding and made it all about himself?

To be fair, if you are a couple that has your wedding reception at mar-a-lago, a classic Trump victimisation rant is your wet dream

Night, lads.

Real talk, IS there something Bezos could buy right now with all of his assets that wouldn't take a million lifetimes

I don’t care how much a person makes as long as what they make after a certain point is taxed at super high levels.

U.S. President Joe Biden does not intend to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, the White House said on Monday.😂
Asked if Biden’s diplomatic approach to North Korea would include “sitting with President Kim Jong Un” as former President Donald Trump had done, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said, “I think his approach would be quite different and that is not his intention,” she said.
i could spend 180bn easy. i don't care that much about billionaires having the wealth they do, inherited wealth is a bigger problem. tax 99% of it.
By Lunatic Go To PostIsn't inherited wealth already taxed?Exemption for first $11.8mil, then 40% thereafter.
But there's plenty of tax avoidance schemes you can do. It used to almost 80% up until the 1980s.
Also there's estate vs inheritance.
Upon the death of someone you settle the estate tax. Far as what people inherit after that and how it's taxed, it gets mired in shit.

By reilo Go To PostExemption for first $11.8mil, then 40% thereafter.I see. Yea it's pretty easy to avoid taxes if you are wealthy. Honestly would be pretty hard to shut those loopholes. HNW people are essentially stateless.

Property is where it gets complicated.
Widows/Widowers can be completely exempt or up to a certain threshold selling property the same year of death. Where it gets complicated is they don't get taxed on the whole sale of that property, they get taxed on the difference between what they paid and the valuation of said property upon the death of the trustor, if they do pay anything it's just capital gains and can be anywhere from 1% to 15%. Then you get another break if it's a principal residence. And it can still get even more complicated than what I just talked about.

Apparently this country was founded on Christian principles but the church membership was in the 10-30 percent range in the late 1700’s.
The addition of “under god” in the pledge was stupid lol fuckin’ Cold War.
I had some dude at my work tell me he believes the authors of the constitution were ordained by god as though amendments don’t exist.
