By Hitch Go To PostFootball is the only one I watch a lot of
The odd bit of test cricket, and a decent amount of limited over England matches if it's a proper tournament. The start of F1 if I can be arsed, anything after lap 2 can get in the bin. Will watch a streamable if there's a big crash cos I'm a cunt. Stream the heavyweight boxing if I've got nothing else to do, bollocks to paying for it. Watch the final round on YouTube the day after occasionally.
Wimbledon from the quarter finals onward. England in a rugby world cup final, dreadful sport otherwise. Can see myself enjoying basketball but never really given it a go. Other big three American sports hold no appeal. Darts is the worst thing on TV, and anyone who's ever sung that fucking chant should have been eradicated on conception.
Professional Dota 2 is the future. Don't know why people can't take ALWAYSWANNAFLY and Chicken Fighters seriously. Sponsored by Monster Energy. Buy some merch you twats.
T20 cricket probably my fav sport these days. Big Bash been great, IPL was excellent this year too. Working from home so big bash mornings always nice.
My new fav sport though, over the last 18 months is Rugby League, really only Australian NRL and state of origin. Crazy what a different game it is to Super League over here. So much so I got tickets to the Semi final of the RL world Cup this year (lol gd luck) at the Emirates as its the only game outside the North.
Can't stand going to the cricket, there's always a specific Jeans + Sheaux vibe that I can't get on with
Football GOAT sport obviously. Really loving getting into NBA this season; always enjoyed watching and playing basketball but never followed it. I watch the grand slams of tennis, the big boxing matches and I watch F1 highlights. Everything else no thanks. Rugby and cricket absolutely not for me, Clive.
Football, International Rugby Union, Test Cricket, F1, the Majors + Ryder Cup, the Grand Slams, Olympics, and I'll watch Snooker or Darts if it comes on the TV. Never really cared for any of the American sports

Lampard out and Lingard to Moyes
What a fucking time to be alive.
Tuchel to Chelsea seems a pretty safe bet.

They must have someone lined up already, even just on an interim basis. Otherwise I'd fail to see the point in sacking him before the end of the season.
By Fergie Go To PostAbout time. The dude is not a good coach, needs to get a lot of more experience.
By Punished* Go To PostThese days you can get sacked, just for being English.sacked? for being english?
Given the club's propensity to troll its fans, I'd put a wager on Arram Grant. Or Benitez.
I wouldn't be against Rafa tbh.
Edit: Tuchel - that won't end well.

Tuchel, by all accounts, is an excellent coach with terrible man management and inter-personal skills. He'll sort out Chelsea in the short term and fall out with some players and board members in 18 months time. But that'll be fine as he's steadied the ship.

Tuchel will be fine. Less pressure than PSG, he’ll get some good shit out of Werner and Havertz. They’ll finish top 3 next year and win a cup or two before he’s sacked after two and a half years.

I think there was definitely an argument a month ago for giving Frank more time. All managers go through bad spells, and this was pretty much his first. But then he decided to constantly blame the players and the media and had absolutely no ability to self-reflect in public, and his naivete showed massively.

I was one of those that thought Chelsea would do better than Man Utd. Ole is overperforming and I have no idea how? Is he secretly talented? The club is giving him a lot of support? Or is the squad better than I think....

Indeed....
I'll give Lampard a little leeway as this season essentially deprived him of a preseason with which to properly bed in the new players and develop a defined style of play.
But, it still feels like we have not truly learnt the lessons from last season, that unbeaten run notwithstanding. Against the best teams, we have been woefully inadequate.

You can tell that he is trying to model himself on Mourinho but he doesn't have anything to back up that kind of attitude. A season at Derby where they didn't even get promoted, that's fuck all.
This is where I give Gerrard some credit, he's working his way up properly and better opportunities will soon arrive. Where does Lampard even go now? No top team will take him.

By LabouredPatriot Go To PostAh no, Tommy Tucher is going to take away their chips.
Taking away the ketchup has been the undoing of so many managers. They never learn.

Ole is better than a lot of fans/the media give him credit for; it cannot be expressed how well he has done on the relationships side of things. No dressing room leaks, he’s trimmed the squad of its worst players without complaints, no one seems to moan about playing time, he’s managed Pogba wonderfully... that side of it is often underrated I think in top level management. We all want tactical masterclasses but to a degree Ole has just got the side on board, kept them happy and confident and we have a good enough starting 11 (+2/3) that we can ride the wave for a bit.
Ultimately I don’t think he has the nous or quality, as do the squad, to go the extra mile and win the league or CL, and therefore his reign will be unsustainable. We’re in a really good moment right now, and all the work he has done rebuilding the squad and culture of the side after a few failed appointments is incredible and he’ll forever be a hero in my eyes, just for getting me to a point where I enjoy watching us for pretty much the first time in seven years (RIP van Gaal Feb 2015 - Apr 2015).
We won’t win anything this season. But ultimately Solskjaer has done enough right, and won over Pep, Klopp, Mou, et al enough times that I don’t think you can call it a fluke. He is a good coach doing a great job and eventually that’ll revert to the norm and he will become a good coach doing a bad job because United expects greatness and we’ll hear lots of ‘I told you he was shit’.
Re: Ole
I don't think he is being carried by the squad as much as some would suggest. I mean yeah, you can argue lucked out with Bruno essentially being a cheat code since signing, but Ole sets the team up in a way that makes use of his strengths.
They have a set way of doing things. A solid Plan A. People can scoff, but the results are speaking for themselves. Ole's issue will be if/when that plan doesn't work, he might not have the know-how to change things outside of relying on individual moments. Or maybe that'll change too.
I don't know what Lampard's Plan A was. And I don't think the players did either.

Ole is a good man manager for sure. That said the big improvements to the team seem to come from Bruno and Cavani, who have brought steel and rat power to Old Trafford.
